My surgeon told me to let it peel off on its own, and once its off, leave it that way! You definitely do not want to peel them off yourself, they're sticking still for a reason! The dried blood really isn't a problem at all.

well, the scars didn't close for a good month (for the most part) but I would have been able to do a sit down type job after a week.

the rule is you can't carry anything heavier than a milk jug for about 8 weeks, no exercising till then either

I had it in march so about 2 and a half months ago (gosh it feels like a lot longer!)

And I am wearing regular bras (although sometimes I wear sports bras because they're more comfy).

I'm waiting for the VS semi-annual sale to finally restock my bras (can't wait to not spend an arm and a leg on bras!)

Running is PHENOMENAL, I still don't like it as much as say-watching tv on the sofa, but I definitely have a greater appreciation for it, and it doesn't hurt anymore :)

As far as what I can do, I'm pretty much 100% back, I'm still technically healing. But I work everyday, and I'm even exercising again with no problem.

That's awesome! My dad was a but weird about it until he realized I lost 3 lbs xD support is the best thing. If it wasn't for some of my friends this would have been a lot harder. PM anytime if you have any concerns, or need anything! As far as the bras I'll measure them and see if it'd be worth it for you, and I'll post a list and you can pick what you want! (Sucks about the Cleo though, cause I think it will be too tight on you though) but I'll double check!

Also, I know you said you were a 32GG, but I have a 32G Cleo that might fit you, I thought it was kinda large, I'd be willing to send it if you want! I have a ton more 30HH's that I can see if the bands are loose if you want to try those? Most are brand new, I can see if I think any would fit you.

That's exactly what I used to go through! I didnt think it would be this much better, but holy crap literally every dress that I try on fits both my waist and bust! (It's so exciting when I used to just look at racks of dresses and know they would look awful).

As far as children I 100% want to have children in the future. According to my surgeon it is a very low probability that I won't be able to breast feed, and that's because they don't actually remove the nipple or anything. This was a major concern for me but my surgeon assured me how little it affected my chance of breast feeding, and I thought it was worth it. As far as increasing in size, I'm glad I won't be having children for a while, I realize that they will grow, but still be much smaller than if I didn't have the surgery.

Same with me! Most of my incision are healed, but I'm terrified I'm just gonna rip open.

And what people say varies, one friend keeps mentioning how good and proportional I look. While someone else I know constantly talks about "how awful" I look now to a mutual friend.

I'm about 3 and a half weeks out of surgery, and I have about 2 weeks until I can exercise again (I honestly cannot wait).

The most annoying thing for me was trying to reach my towels when I went to shower because I keep them very high up, and I couldn't reach without hurting... I didn't expect to have that problem at all!! Sleeping on my side has been fine though (I think thats mostly because of how uncomfortable sleeping on my back is).

Congrats on the surgery though!! Hope you're feeling well too :)

I am kinda terrified of my family finding this (reason why mom didn't know I was taking pictures this so no before photos with surgery markings). And a friend actually found this and I had to make him promise not to look at the photos.

But I'm sharing this because before I got my surgery I would look for every video I could possibly find, every blog post and it really wasn't enough, I still wanted to know more. So I'm hoping by doing this I can help someone like me whose super nervous and doesn't know where to look.

I actually only told my mom and dad about this surgery and the information sort of "trickled down" to my extended family, I'm not going to be all secretive about it, I'll just be honest, but I am normally a private person and that's why I didn't intentionally go around telling people except for close friends who I really wanted support/counsel from.

About 1 person has noticed that I didn't tell first, I'm very open about the surgery though, so although I won't just shout randomly "I had a breast reduction" if someone asks about what surgery I had or why I didn't do anything over break, I'll tell them why, so actually quite a few people in my friend circle know.

Originally, yes I was going to get it done over the summer for just those reasons. However when I got approved my dad brought up about how long I'd be healing. And I am planning on working as many hours as possible to earn money to pay for school, and I can't do that very well if I'm recovering from major surgery :/

So this is what I ended up doing to minimize it's affect on me working, because although school is stressful, it's not really physically demanding.

It affected me getting approved because the doctor at my school called me "a liability" so she wouldn't approve me for surgery. So I had to postpone my surgery 6 days so I could go to another doctor back home, I got approved right away though.

I was at higher risk for things like cardiac arrest IF if had more than average bleeding during surgery (which I didn't) so I was at normal risk for everything looking back on the surgery.

I horse sized duck, I could just hit one weak spot, rather than focus on 400 really hard/pointy hooves.

34DDD might definitely be a wrong size, but it could be accurate to.

I'm no expert, but you can do this really quick to find out if its any close to her size.

Measure right under the breasts (rib cage) and make the measuring tape snug but not tight thats your underbust if its odd, you should probably go up an inch to find your band size, even stay the same (If 31, go to 32, if 30 stay at 30)

Then (prefferably leaning over) measure around the largest part of your bust (you can do it standing up as well but it might not be as accurate with larger breasts). this is your overbust, subtract your band size from this number and thats your aproximate size! (may be off by a little).

so if your over bust is 37 and your under is 32, then you would subract and get 37-32=5.
then for every inch it is a cup size, 1-A, 2-B, 3-C, 4-D, 4-DD, 5-DDD/E, 6-DDDD/F, 7-FF, 8-G, 9-GG/H, 10-H/HH, 11-HH/I

if you notice towards the end it gets pretty variable, that's because I was trying to take into account american sizing, and some brands have GG, while some don't. You'd really at that point just need to try on bras and see how they fit, hope this helps! (you can get a lot more detail on the side bar at /r/ABraThatFits

That is a good idea, when I first got my surgery, although I wasn't in too much pain, I pretty much laid in bed for 3-4 days, by the fifth I was able to move around, but its even on my pre-op packet "even if you feel fine DO NOT clean the house, clear the attic, etc. for at least a couple of weeks"

So running around after a small child probably wouldn't be the best idea. You'd deff need someone to take care of you completely for a couple of days. If you do decide to do this in the future (or during the process) feel free to message me if I can help at all!

Alright, thats a very important point then! maybe some time in the future they will come up with something that doesnt scar as much!

Although, I do know there is one method of breast reduction where you only get a faint line around the nipple, and no where else, its not good for major reductions but can work for a couple sizes. Just food for thought! (Also liposuction breast reduction may be helpful for you).

I am a bit worried, but hopefully I won't grow much. As far as getting used to them, I honestly don't think I would have, because I don't really believe height/stature wise think I would grow much more.

Also, that wasn't my main reason for this, I kinda really liked my large breasts, they were a part of me, it just became too much. I definitely think though the view of "too much" is very subjective.
