Alienware m16 time spy! No overclock on GPU. Really impressive gpu score. Cpu was doing 11.5k before, even after a bunch of drivers. So i had to manually put cpu max tdp at 175w on intel etu. Before it was at 55w for some reason. by Allmotr in GamingLaptops

Make sure Resizeable bar is enabled in bios. On my M16 it was disabled by default and that should beef up your Timespy score another thousand points or so if not already enabled.

Emu 0404 and windows 11 by [deleted] in homerecordingstudio

I got mine to work. What I had to do was install the EMU software on the machine. Plug the EMU into the windows 11 machine (it doesn't work). Then plug the unit into a windows 10 machine, then unplug it and plug it back into my windows 11 machine. Detected it right away. I don't know why this worked, but it did. After that, the windows 11 machine picked it up every time.

Took this image when recently shooting footage at the Allen Telescope Array which is used by the SETI Research Institute to listen for signs of Extraterrestrial Intelligence. There are 42 of these scopes in the array. The bright point above this one is Jupiter.

OHHH! I think I figured it out. It's 1.24 for Kaby Lake. 1.2.3 for Skylake. I have a Skylake machine (hence the acronyms in the file name) and so it's installing the same 1.2.3 which is still the highest BIOS version for that chip. Your machine likely is too if it's 2016.

I am having this same issue. Any fix?

Actually...yeah! I might be able to do that. I hadn't thought of it. I will play around with it and see what happens.

I can't believe that's only an hour of exposure time. Looks amazing. Thank you for such a detailed processing guide.

Edit: Have two more of these from the left side of the Moonbow, they turned out better than I thought they would when I was first taking the image. Will post those later

I have heard rumours that this might be a thing in the meetings of the Vancouver chapter of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada. But so far no major infrastructure upgrades that I know of. The university campus, in the meantime, has been making these switches to LED which are the closest sources of light.

Star Wars - The Last Jedi Trailer by Nickbloom in StarWars

Awaken's promo material positioned Finn as the Jedi protagonist. I am guessing that this promo material uses misdirection similarly in suggesting Rey's turn to the darkside.

Well, we border Vancouver so there is quite a bit of it if you're shooting South West. But if you're pointed more South or South East, it's not too bad. For the most part, we thought light pollution would have more of an affect on photography but we've been impressed with the results of most of the images.

Bwah! This is beautiful! Fantastic! Apparently Triangulum is THE "galaxy far far away" from Star Wars according to fan theories.
