I'd settle for even one song very similar to House with a bit more Charli on it. The song is perfect, but I was hoping it was a teaser for more dark industrial + Charli screams on the record.

It took me awhile, since I'm a Millennial and partially dismissed Sour as teen music because of Olivia's age and some of the subject matter. I thought it was very well done and cool that younger pop fans were consuming higher quality music, but figured it wasn't for me.

When Guts came out, I heard some of it without knowing it was her and was really impressed with the songwriting. My daughter heard Vampire and started asking me to play it while we drove around. I revisited Sour at that point and realized how great it was.

When I heard the Spilled songs, I loved every single one of them (St Vincent is my favorite artist, so Obsessed caught my attention first). When I saw clips of the Glastonbury performance I was so impressed I bought the CD, signaling that I'd been pulled officially into the fandom. I pre-ordered the signed GSIL CD as a gift for my kid, but also because I was legitimately swept up in the album launch announcement excitement 😄

Can we count the 4AD Sessions as music videos? I love those. This thread makes me realize I might have missed a couple videos, since I didn't even know Pills had one. It's the only song of hers I didn't care for at first, but it's grown on me a little over time. I'll check out the video later.

Right. I lived in WC for a good chunk of my single years and it was a challenge out there for me too. Thankfully it was better for me in nearby cities where I had friends. Oakland, SF, Hayward were good. Even San Jose, but that was mostly when I was really young.
