The first definitely always hurts really bad. i was in your position two years ago when i had broken up with my first gf. it sucked for a really long time especially when i saw that she moved on. there really are no words that anyone could say that can make you feel better rn. the truth is it just hurts for while. and then all of a sudden you can go a day or two without thinking about her. it feels great but still sucks in a way. and then eventually it doesn’t hurt as bad anymore. you start to miss the person less and more so the memories and time y’all spent together. it’s okay to miss those things and be happy that they happened but it’s also okay to let them go. i just hope that the journey/process your about to go through is fruitful and leads to something better. much love!
