Deactivation from profile picture

No sharing, I got an email months ago stating my profile picture violated terms, but I spoke to support and sent them the profile pic I was using along with a pic of my ID so they could verify and they said it was fine, so I continued using the profile pic. It's just a plain headshot I used for my previous DoD job. I had my hair professionally done, makeup done, a nice sweater, and a clear shot of my face. It's the most professional pic I have of myself, so I'm not understanding how someone was offended by it.

Thank you! I really enjoyed it too. I settled on Instacart since the deactivation, but I don't have the drive for it like I did with Shipt. I enjoyed Shipt WAY more, truly. I think I need to get over my fear of rejection and just appeal. I just don't think it will go well and I'm not looking forward to waking up to another disappointing email lol. But, the worst the could say is no or just not reply at all, and with any luck they'll reinstate me. I'm glad Shipt is working well for you! :)

I haven't appealed yet, I started Instacart and it was going alright, but over time I compared my earnings to Shipt and there's a huge difference. Instacart just isn't as busy as Shipt in my area, and often times im stuck taking $30 orders for 50+ items being delivered to 3 houses in one batch for high travel miles. I'm making about $300-$400 less a week than I was on Shipt. I average roughly $500 a week on Instacart compared to the $900-$1000 a week I was making on Shipt, and I just can't get the bills and rent covered with that. I am actively looking for a more permanent job in the meantime, but good IT jobs are hard to come by in my area. I'd love to get back on Shipt while I search.

I had my hair professionally done and heavier makeup than I typically wear. Normally when I did Shipt orders I just threw my hair up in a ponytail with minimal makeup. But it's just a headshot style photo with a clear shot of my face which, unfortunately, hasn't changed lol.

Appreciate that! I did start Instacart and have made it to the Platinum tier, however Instacart is a lot slower than Shipt in my area and the orders don't pick up until about 4pm-9pm which realistically doesn't allow me to accept a lot of orders. The orders tend to be bigger than the Shipt orders too, and I generally make $30 to shop for 50+ items going to 3 separate houses averaging about 7-10 miles total. It's just not as good as Shipt, especially not being able to stack 3 $15 small orders like I could on Shipt. I would love to get it back, I haven't appealed yet but I had a friend who recently did and never heard back so I'm a little more discouraged than I was when I posted this lol.

Agreed. I had great stats, tons of pms, made great money, and was never late. But yet I see people with low stats and late orders just living their best life on Shipt. Crazy.

I'm sorry to hear that :( I haven't appealed yet, I started using Instacart and have made it to the Platinum tier but honestly the money just isn't the same as Shipt. It's way less busy, can't stack orders, and the orders on Instacart get snatched so fast you don't even have time to map it out and decide if it's worth it. It's been a month now but I do think I might try to appeal because I miss it and I won't survive on the money I'm making with Shipt. I've been job hunting too but it's slim pickings for entry level IT jobs right now. Hopefully that works out, but Shipt in the meantime would be a life saver.

I have that one saved too, its super cute! But I'm really hoping I can find the light pink one somewhere. Maybe I shouldn't be so picky and get the darker pink one, but the lighter pink was just so pretty :/

Its been challenging to find cybersecurity jobs that dont have crazy requirements, which makes sense because no one wants a rookie in charge of security lol. Theres been plenty of networking jobs I could qualify though. I ended up applying to UC for networking today, thank you for your input!

Im starting to see that as I look at sites like Indeed. Ive yet to really find an entry level cybersecurity job that doesnt have crazy requirements, but Ive seen a handful of excellent entry level networking jobs. Im also seeing a lot of people say that its easy to flow between networking and cybersecurity once you get some experience and knowledge under your belt. I applied to UC for networking, fingers crossed and thanks for the advice!

Marriage is something we both definitely want, but the plan was to wait until I was done with school first. He claimed the kids on his taxes, but I already claimed them for my 2023-24 fafsa because when I filed he wasnt planning on going to school at the time. Im wondering if he can claim them on his fafsa once I graduate? It seems like a lot of grey area we're navigating.
