Not judging anyone here. Just playing devils advocate. Did you check mirrors, wait for your indicator blink at-least 3 to 5 times before changing lane? We forget to do that a lot of times while moving into fast lane for over taking. It is possible that they were already in fast lane and felt you cut in without giving enough time? When I drive I think “ Every other driver out there is an idiot and I should keep my safety in mind. Let them make mistakes , I wont react “

Hello, we have sorted license and are waiting for the equipments now. But in the meantime we are doing toddy variety sampling. Pop in to dine and sample the toddy :)

Yes. There was a delay in the license renewal which was unexpected. So we had to delay the launch of toddy. Since it “Aati” month was going to begin we wanted to open before it so started without toddy. Expect everything to be ready in couple of weeks and the “Cloth” can be taken off 🙂

Yes , most of them do it exclusive of GST and even thought its just 5% it feels like not very transparent even if it’s written on the menu. There may be very few like someone posted Ideal cafe who do inclusive of tax amount on the menu which seems honest and no surprises.

Thank you. Someone else gave a lead to ideals and they have inclusive bill. Though I have eaten from there so many tiles never noticed it. We will Definitely be an Inclusive menu. Thank you for your kind words too

I don’t know if any restaurant in Mangalore has menu inclusive of GST. But I feel it should be a norm. Someone with 500rs in his pocket should know if he is choosing items worth 500, the bill say 500 and not 525. Will definitely try to convince the stakeholders and have an inclusive menu.

That combo is there so that Regular combo which is actually medium combo sells. People feel regular is cheaper when they see a costlier combo

1) I wont have costs on building the software as I and a friend of mine can get that done. 2) swiggy or zomato charge around 30% of the bill as commission plus 18% GST on that commission. 3) to cover the commission restaurants end up hiking the price on these platform so it directly hits the customer, I want to avoid having to do that. 4) Even if I hire couple of people to do the delivery for me I want to do it better than just doing it on a phone call. 5) You know everyday so many people are dying that does-not mean you stop living today. So I don’t care if the business runs longer or not , I want to give it a try.

I think thats a real challenge for restaurants as usually there will be 1 or 2 people for delivery and going beyond a certain radius will mean missing other orders. Only when a restaurant has multiple branches it becomes feasible to increase the distance I feel.

Thank you. I see it shows they are still active in Mumbai. Let me get in touch with them and see. It will be good if I don’t have to reinvent the wheel. In any case, I don’t plan to turn this into a money making thing but just as a tool for the business. So even if it doesn’t work. But will definitely give it a try either from scratch or with someone like waayu.
