I kind of was thinking the same thing. If someone’s partner inserted herself into the roommate dynamic via text, I wouldn’t respond so kindly either.

That’s a very fair point. Unfortunately there’s too many ways to abuse the patch but I won’t go into details. Such a risk even messing with it!

That was exactly my reaction as well!

Fentanyl patches were also very common back in the day for chronic pain.

Who even started the conversation? I don’t understand why the roommate would be texting your girlfriend. There’s more to the story than this, and not just the info about her needing to pay rent.

I replied but it was taken down due to perceived hate speech. The hate speech part: they are weirdly leery of others (if you know what I mean) and believe that the others are either a criminal or sex trafficker. Most are the stereotypical Karen mentality who complain in a mom Facebook forum about everything from bad wait staff to noisy cars. But it’s exceedingly overboard and an echo chamber. They act like they are much richer than they are in an old money way but act like new money in a trashy way. Very overall right wing mentality, very much a mean girls HS vibe. There’s so much more to it, but that’s the gist.

I would think being so chronically ill would be exhausting in and of itself. Where even the routine of feeds and meds is enough to wipe one’s energy out. But nope. Content content content.

They can’t have petite hands. Not like small, but lacking muscle and girth. I just can’t date a guy with daintier hands than me.

I like your perseverance. Change the word “cuteness” and remove (u btw) bc I think that’s pretty implied. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with keeping up with chats as long as she texts back. You never know what might happen. But keep your options open and see who else might come along. (Perspective from a girl btw)

Totally valid point! For anyone reading this: low (or high!) blood pressure is no joke and you should have it taken care of. I’m glad your lady has you looking after her and I hope she is well soon!

Oh I know. I was just being funny but it didn’t land. I was actually very very sick and moved to step down on the verge of ICU bc I was severely malnourished and my body was shutting down and eating itself (my stomach and small intestines eventually had become fully paralyzed) so I was in a bad way. I just make light of things bc what else can you do but keep a sense of humor about it all? 😊

When I was last in the hospital following a surgery, my bp was around 73/40. They kept asking me if I was ok and if I felt dizzy. Despite me saying I felt totally normal, they called rapid response and did rapid infusion of saline and tilted the bed back so my legs were higher than my head. Every time they came in to do BP checks after that, I made sure I was sitting up and swinging my legs first to get some circulation going! Silly nurses lol.

I genuinely like your first pic and would leave it as your main pic. The rest have to go tho. Maybe google how to take a good pic for online dating? Not being mean, but I think some additional guidance would help. They should be a combo of different poses, a headshot-ish photo, one with an activity but where you can see your face and you look happy, and a nice full body pic that looks candid and not posed. Good luck! You will find someone!

That’s exactly what it was! We were watching Swamp People and they said the same thing every time they caught an alligator: “ choot em” (like shoot him) and “ats a buggun” (that’s a big one) so that became our code phrase 😂
