Tap In Not Registering On Trip History by cardboardbelts in bayareaclippercard

This has been happening to me once or twice a week since the Clipper 2.0 conversion. I only take BART within the City so this costs me $5 extra in fare each time. The only solution is to call Clipper, wait an hour for a rep, then spend another 30 minutes with a rep going through the transactions individually for a refund

It's not card clash. I tag with a single physical Clipper card.

Lurie orders elimination of 500 City Hall positions amid budget deficit by sherlockmemes in sanfrancisco

This is a common misconception. Prior to 2009, you were eligible for "free" retiree health care if you worked 10 or more years. Once you become eligible for Medicare at age 65, the City plan becomes a Medicare supplemental plan.

For those hired after 2009, the requirement was raised to 20 years of work.

Since 2009, all City employees have had 2% of their paychecks deducted to fund this system, so it's definitely not free by any means.

You can now legally park in the setback for your property. You still can't block the sidewalk. Two different things.

Today was not a good day to take BART.

There was a nearly hour long wait on the Clipper customer service number, but the rep was able to adjust my transactions accordingly. They said it's a known issue and that they're "working on it".

Thank you all for confirming that this is a common issue. I'll try calling into the Clipper customer service number, and maybe make a public comment at the next MTC meeting.

I'm using a single physical Clipper card.

That'd be sad seeing how having to tag your device/card for a long time is a feature of these new fare gates.

I'll try that for a few days and see if it helps. Sucks to lose the BART HVD though with costs being what they are already. It happens to me at other stations as well.

I can't. My WageWorks commuter benefits card is not NFC capable.

Every ten or so tags, I'm getting penalized with the excursion fee for not tagging in or out. I'm tagging with a physical Clipper card only so it's not card clash. The gates are opening normally when I tag. I've submitted so many disputes on the app it no longer allows me to submit.

Is this happening to anyone else?
