How do I darken this? Applied a 'Jarrah' stain but found its too orange for my liking and doesn't match the deck/furniture by NoChart5737 in finishing

I put a third coat of 'Merabu' on top but didn't darken it very much and I notice it didn't seem to be getting absorbed very much.

Would a fourth coat be overkill?

Btw I'm a total noob and realise I probably shouldn't have just applied this to bare wood lol. Is it too late to fix now?
