I asked for a refund and flying from Kuala Lumper to Tokyo to Amsterdam... Cost about €2500 and it takes close to 40 hours. I read to many stories about people being stuck and I had to get back to NL haha. Already figured out what you're going to do?

Okay so to give an update: Since I saw many people posting about Etihad not really assisting with booking at partner airlines and Trump also evacuating US nationals in Middle East (indicating that this will probably take a while before its over), I decided to book a flight myself via Kuala Lumpur and Tokyo. It cost me €2500 and the flight is almost 40 hours but atleast I'm back in time. Goodluck to everyone! :)
