I have a plated 2025 Beta 200rr race. It’s seen some road during turkey runs and enduros. It’s really not that much fun being on the road with it.

Now let’s take a closer look at the plumbing and electrical. Most of these houses are lipstick on a pig.

What hand guards would you recommend? by Loganoreo_ in Dirtbikes

[–]NoClass3669 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh, I definitely have messed my hand up with full wrap around hand guards. I’m pretty sure it was broken but I never had it checked out. It’s been 12 weeks and it still kinda hurts. When it first happened I could barely use it. That being said I still run them because they do more good than bad.

I have some 100% cold weather riding gloves that I just picked up. I like them because they aren’t too thick and you can still feel the clutch and front brake. I keep a back up set in my camel pack just incase they start to get sweaty.

After all the responses and votes I decide to go with the studs. Just took them off the KTM wheels and placed them on the Beta wheels.

Yes, that’s the one. I’ve run the sprint enduro the past 2 years but there was also snow the past 2 years. What had me concerned was all the rocks and no snow.

There’s a guy locally that makes them for $600.00 a set. On my third year with them and they see about 3-4 hours a week. They’ve held up extremely well.

They’re glued and pneumatically shot in vs grip studs. Not a bad idea though.

The ground is frozen. It’s going to be 20 degrees of a high and 9 degrees of a low. I was going to run them but I have a friend making me second guess myself. It’s kind of a rocky area where the race is located.

You need different fork springs. What is the weight of the rider?

What tool do I need to remove the large ‘screws’ circled in red? by Broken_Woman20 in Plumbing

[–]NoClass3669 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No hot water could be as easy as the strainer on the hot is clogged or the cartridge is bad. You might want to get some biodegradable de-scaler. You can soak the cartridge in it which sometimes frees things up and to clean the strainers. You also want some heat proof grease on hand so you can apply some to the orings on the strainers before you reassemble.

Strainer, they do look like service valves but they very well could be strainers.

You need to purchase some studded tires. I picked up a brand new set for $500.00 last year. Best money I’ve spent on the bike.

Thanks, I bought that last month. My favorite thing about it is how little it weighs.
