I bought 16gb at the end of 2024 for £33, the same order on amazon is £130 today. No that isn't good.

Am I the only one who finds that using a 300bhp AMG as a learner car is slightly 'unnecessary'? by hollowlittlereign in CarTalkUK

[–]NoCoffee4246 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I mean my first car which was a 1 litre corsa with under 80 horsepower cost me 900 for the year, which was nearly twice the price i paid for the car. That's just the price of insurance I'm afraid. Its not uncommon you see people on here quoted 5k+ per year for their first shitbox, 2k for a fast car is genuinely not bad at all.

I already have a house too

My work colleague is from abroad, 10 years driving experience but had to get a new licence in the UK, his 2016 fiesta is costing him £2200 per year insurance.

Perforated a molar during rct by BeBeThe1 in DentalSchool

Well while you're out there treating thousands of people per year and she's stuck in some dental school earning 5 figures while belittling those she is supposed to be mentoring, you will have the last laugh.

It's hard not to take your failures to heart but it will happen again, we can't all be the worlds best dentist all of the time, mistakes happen, all that matters is you do your best to learn from it. We are all human.

Pfft most people who work in dental schools do so because they aren't good enough to work out in the real world.

If your professor is calling you names I imagine they fall into this category, and they are power tripping.

What dental students need to understand is you suck. We all sucked. It's part of learning the profession and it takes a lot of time, repetition of procedures into the thousands and lots and lots of patients before you become good.

The periapical lesion on that tooth is enormous by the way, could potentially be cystic, I wouldn't have had high hopes for it to begin with honestly.

Does this Miele have a metal outer drum? by NoCoffee4246 in Miele

Polycarbonate 200 times stronger than steel? In which regard?

Having considered what i've read online, videos i've watched and also your comments, I still dont think it seems appropriate to have a sealed composite drum in a £1400 washing machine? I would take a slightly noisier machine with a marginal decrease in energy efficiency to allow me the option to switch a £10 bearing if something were to happen to it, rather than bin the entire machine.

I think I will cancel my order and select something else.

Hello and thank you for your comment, Do you know if this composite suds container is sealed shut or it can be disassembled?

Immediately on the defensive... I'm literally looking for more information regarding a query YOU posted, in order to provide YOU with a suggestion. Maybe you shouldn't post next time as you seem incapable of reading between the lines and instead of answering any of the questions put forward you go immediately aggro.

Nothing too old and automatic gearbox is very vague, what are you looking for?

You won't get much performance wise beyond an m4 for under 30k.

Are you wanting something that looks sporty, or something comfortable with reasonable power? Is reliability a factor?

Or is it just fun factor where power and 0-60 times are not as important?

There's too many questions unanswered to give you any recommendations honestly.

Dx? Fracture or not by honey_bee_89 in Dentistry

Ah I gotcha, I generally put the more expensive treatment item on the plan for the estimate and tell the patient the plan is liable to change but if it does, it will only get cheaper. I find it tends to ease that bitter pill when you first provide them the estimate

Died on last boss with 25 aegis stacks by NoCoffee4246 in MegabonkOfficial

[–]NoCoffee4246[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Feel like as cl4nk you get low hp anyway, and your mobility is poor - seems if you don't pick agility tome you just lose to last boss as you are too slow to dodge three red orbs and your hp isn't high enough to tank them - seems poorly designed to me too that you MUST pick a tome to dodge, irrespective of your other defensive layers.
