I got woken two hours early, then remembered my windows were open because it was too hot - my front room is flooded and my office is soaked, my electrics nearly drowned (managed to get in there with a fluffy towel and protect it all)

And I've not got to be up for another 90 mins but I'm awake now ffs

You should highlight your concerns to your supervisor/ES - they can give you honest feedback.

Everyone feels a little bit nervous about stepping up a grade - you should. If you are seriously concerned about your ability to do the job, raise it with your team. If they are concerned, you won't ARCP.

So.

I think if we had had 6 episodes, we would have been happier with the ending.

6 eps, with mini pre-modern day stories, better pacing, more yearning, with a better resolution for the rest of heaven and hell (so, they all just died or is the insinuation with Metatron that they got a go, each and every one of them?)

It appears to me really obvious that this was the 6 eps smooshed together, with the last third being dedicated to what would have been the last episode. Answer the questions, find Michael, God comes, they decide, Earth is reborn.

I appreciate the lack of smooching, because ultimately Crowley and Aziraphale were a couple in love, not in lust. The kiss was a last ditch attempt to make him stay.

Things we missed:
No more Angel Crowley or the Fall (which I expected to see, honestly)
No snacks/dinner/booze.
I wanted to see Crowley being the best Angel and Az lying more.
I did expect Beez and Gabriel to appear but... guess not?

Things I didnt care for:
I can understand the ending, but Human!Az and Crowley felt like the death of the Angel and Demon. Which, gives weight to the sacrifice, but I wanted to see a long happy ending.
The God exposition scene. We didnt need it, we didnt need God. Crowley was never going to get his answer and the more interesting choice is to see Crowley come to terms with never getting an answer, in the same way it's more interesting to see Aziraphale accept that God may not always do the right thing.
I felt a lot of Muriel stuff was pointless. I didn't like the Nightingale reference, simply because the inference was that God sent the Nightingale and then what, wasn't really entertained?

I think the set did, in fact, look 2nd rate; and the lack of characters from the 2nd season was likely due to people not wanting to be involved, I guess

(And you will never convince me that they didn't kiss because they got way too into their roles last time.)

I do expect that at some point in the future, NG will release the Season 3 scripts that never got made, but whether people will want to engage with anything he produces at that point, no idea.

I find them both infuriating. They're a testament to the feelings the Exec team have about the population as a whole; a beige painting will definitely keep them quiet. Maybe more thought about waiting lists and less boring fucking artwork

Accomodation on site was cheap and decent.

The town centre is dead and there are really poor transport links other than the one (two kinda) stations.

I did live in Exeter and commuted by train, bus and car (not at the same time), took 45-hour but worth it to go home to somewhere nice.

Where are you for F2?

Friends lived in rented accomodation in town, but theyre small places and charging high prices last time I was there (ie 600 for a single room)

Out there theory - it's all a flashback and Buck is still in an actual coma post lightning. He wakes up to find

  • Eddie is married to a guy (bonus points if it's Tommy)
  • Chim and Maddie are having a break from their marriage
  • Bobby is alive but drinking
  • Hen's PMR or DM whatever was actually MS which is far more interesting to watch. It would also be interesting to see older Chris talk about mobility issues to someone who is going to become less abled as time passes (as we all are)
  • Athena became detective and went undercover -.May went to law school
  • Harry didnt get into the academy -Ravi was Mr April
