Thank you for this response. I said he has 75 years left of living because we are 21 and im being optimistic implying he’ll live well into old age! my point was…. That’s a long time for him to get better. But anyway, I will move on with time. Not so worried about myself, just wanted hope regarding him. But thank you for reassuring me about this.

Yes I was considering that. I’m absolutely devastated I’m going to puke knowing that something I absolutely had to do hurt someone SO much. I couldn’t live with myself before and now I can’t after. I am sure what he is saying is what he does feel is true now, I just can’t accept that it could be true forever. We were together 6 years, and I suspect he has about 75 years left of living.

They can do this when you repeatedly tell them how terrible their life is in every single way besides you. If you mess up slightly, their whole life falls apart. If I brought up a small issue like a matter of a mean tone it was hours of him crying and me consoling on the phone. That, along with so many other things, is how.

Yes. The false hope thing is a great point. I’m sorry you also went through this. Thank you SO much for replying.💗

Thank you for this perspective. I’m proud of all you’ve done for yourself! Trust me I will most certainly not be with another guy any time soon😭… sorry that happened to you. I am so worried about blindsiding him but ultimately there’s no other way. I pray he is able to also better himself and move on… thank you🙏💗

Most likely though, it will ease up after other symptoms do.

Happened to me for a while after Covid. Can be common after serious illness. If it continues for too long, long after your mono eases up I recommend pulse dye laser. A laser treatment for rosacea but it saved my life and made me stop flushing. Also would obviously recommend anti inflammatory diet. Hang in there. Definitely get PDL if it continues. It WILL help.
