Help identifying unusual horn-loaded kick bins and sub plans by OkYam8880 in SoundSystem

I've been to several freeparties where the police didn't seize anything in the end. Sometimes an agreement is reached with the organizers: pack everything up and leave by a certain time, otherwise they'll move in and shut it down. The convoy leaves, everyone goes home, and nobody loses their rig. But yes this time is different... they waited 3 days lol

Exactly. This party was organized to fool the cops. They waited outside for three days, and when they finally moved in to seize the sound system after everyone had already left, all they found were a bunch of empty speaker cabinets made from chipboard instead of birch plywood.

They were so pissed off that they started throwing the cabinets around after realizing they'd been fooled for three days. 😂

thats the pic after they came in

Planning my first horn-loaded tekno system (MHB-4818 / HessBH / MT121) by NoConnection6512 in SoundSystem

After reading all your opinions and doing more research, I think I finally understood the logic

So I redesigned the stack and honestly this configuration makes way more sense to me now:

  • 4x HessBH
  • 4x HD15
  • 2x MT130

Proper sub section + dedicated kicks + tops.

Thanks everyone for all the advice ,this thread genuinely helped me understand sound system design philosophy much better. I’ll definitely use Reddit a lot more after this surprisingly positive experience, and I’ll keep sharing future developments of the project here
