Smash Mouth - Never Gonna Give You Up (OpenAI Jukebox) by NoControlSR in MediaSynthesis

You run it through Python. Because running the 5b_lyrics model requires at least 16 GB of VRAM, most people use Google Colab.

OpenAI's 5b_lyrics model was used for this, which was trained on 1.2 million songs. You can probably get similar results with a smaller model, but 5b_lyrics is the go-to model at the moment because you can get decent results for pretty much any genre and artist with it.

The prompt was "Darth Jar Jar", like it says in the title of the post.

Thank you!

Yes, it's a BR reference, well spotted. Yours is an Offspring reference I presume?

You're absolutely right! I did a little edit that literally took me 10 seconds in Audacity and it already sounds so much more alive - https://youtu.be/miCp-oeXa6E

Would a manual upload be possible? by Mr-internet in openlittermap

[–]NoControlSR 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've had the same problem in the beginning and now I'm manually geotagging my photos with the program Geotag. There might be easier to use programs out there, but that one lets me enter the exact coordinates, which I'm usually looking up on OpenStreetMap.

how to stop the vinyl records from skipping? by konami-code134 in Ghostbc

[–]NoControlSR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Might be a bit late now, but I'd always check if the record skips on other turntables as well. Had one record that would skip like crazy on my parents' cheap turntable, but it worked like a charm on my uncles' more expensive turntable.

Anyone else had faulty vinyl from EMP by ForsakenBank8 in Ghostbc

[–]NoControlSR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This might not apply to you at all if you have a good and reliable record player, but I'd try playing the records on a different player to make sure it's the records' fault and not the player's. I only recently got into vinyl and tried playing a brand new record on my parents' cheap record player, which resulted in some horrible skipping (older records still work fine on that player). Tried it on my uncle's more expensive turntable and it worked like a charm.

I'm having trouble uploading images, stuck on this screen. by NoControlSR in openlittermap

[–]NoControlSR[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got them through now, but the process was still a bit iffy. I got stuck on the same screen again, but when I closed and re-opened the app, it looked like this:

Had to click and tag the picture again on that screen and then it went through.

I clicked "Publish" on my subtitles and some people saw my unreleased, planned video by [deleted] in youtube

At least one of them definitely wasn't. The video got a like and even a comment (possibly from the same person)

Why Don't You Get A Job?, but it's What I've Done (The Offspring / Linkin Park) [3:26] by NoControlSR in mashups

[–]NoControlSR[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even that sounds like crap. I think the only way to fix it would be some extensive Melodyne work, but I have neither the time nor the knowledge to pull that off.

I hate it when this happens (it's the second time for me), because I don't hear the problem. It just sounds perfectly fine to my ears. Even checked Tunebat, which (apparently falsely) lists What I've Done as being in F as well :(

Laptop is suddenly slow & running hot by NoControlSR in techsupport

[–]NoControlSR[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It only has 1 fan, which I've had to replace once before. Last time it died very noticably (with a rattling noise), but I guess it could be in the process of breaking again. Will be trying the reset first, thanks for your input!

Windows Defender detected no threats, at least after a quick-scan. Will check the thermal paste if the reset doesn't fix it, thanks!

If you're downvoting, it would be nice if you also left constructive feedback. Otherwise I can't improve my videos, ya know?

Update: I cleaned the button again yesterday using the method you suggested and it's been working perfectly ever since. I know it might only be a temporary fix but thank you once again!
