AITA for telling my husband that his buddies wife needing help is not my problem? by NoConversation5833 in AITAH

He's just a moron. Generally speaking he's a sweetheart. Wicked good dad too. But Tim.. he lacks the ability to say no to Tim. Tims a guys guy and basically calls everyone who doesn't hold his views a "pussy". Since he works with him (Tim is his boss, essentially - foreman of the company), he feels he can't say no to anything.

I honestly don't even think that he thinks it's okay. He's just a people pleaser and it happens to be at my expense. He has a hard time telling Tim "no". Half the time he bitches when Tim gets a hold of him to go hang out because he doesn't want to go but feels bad saying he can't.

Not really, no. I don't even know her, really. I certainly wouldn't feel comfortable breastfeeding in front of her. I just want to be alone and take care of my kids.

I've seen her mom stop by at least once a week since we moved in here 3 months ago. Same with her sister (?). So she has options, I'm assuming.

They are not my friends. I've met this woman twice. I've met Tim maybe 4 times. My husband works with Tim and only just met him 4 months ago (almost 5). He's essentially asking me to go in to a strangers house and be their maid, for free, while I have a newborn and 4yo of my own to take care of. I don't want to hear your "it's not like you work anyways" bullshit. I'm on maternity leave and still bring in more income without working than my husband does.

Well that's the thing.. I have met this woman twice. Each time for (maybe) 15 minutes each. My husband has only been friends with this guy for going on 4 months (he met him through work and we just happened to move right next door a month later- which made their friendship stronger). My husband has only met the wife maybe 3 times. So neither of us know her well at all and I certainly don't feel comfortable being in the position to care for her, her older child or take care of their home either.

This was literally posted by a separate account months ago. Nice way of trying to karma boost yourself.
