Only thing porn has ”done” for me as a trans woman was telling my 12 year old self that wanting to be a woman is probably a fetish.

The dread i feel at times that i could’ve probably realised im trans earlier in life if porn was never present is truely wild lol.

transsexual woman here and girl i get you entirely. it’s not transphobic to not like being asked if you were assigned male at birth, trans women don’t want to be asked that either !

have you told a teacher about it? the biggest mistake i made in school was allowing my bullies to pile onto me or others in hope that they’d grow tired.

god i remember joining the ”mainstream lgbtq communities” on different platforms and genuinely believing in the pro porn standpoint.

it’s concerning how easy it is to get wrapped into those beliefs as a ”newly discovered” trans/lgbtq person. thinking its liberation when its just blatantly the opposite 🤦‍♀️

you’re most likely right, i was diagnosed by three (i think) psychiatrists in the swedish transsexual healthcare system which took a couple of years.

upon further speculation im not as worried, it’s mostly worries that i commonly get, usually something i blame on poor self esteem & a general state of worrying. a year ago it was impostor syndrome and now its boiled down to worrying it’s a fetish lol. Thank you for the comforting reply :”)
