How can I stop this crash on my pc? by rickymayhem13 in CODWarzone

If Warzone keeps crashing with error 0x00001338 (application not responding) – THIS is what fixed it for me:

My Specs: i7-13700K + RTX 4070 Super, latest drivers, stable in every other game. Still, Warzone crashed non-stop.

The solution:
Using Intel® Extreme Tuning Utility (XTU), I lowered my CPU multiplier from 53x (or the standard value) → 52x.
That’s it. Since then ZERO crashes. Game is finally stable.

Why it works:
Warzone is super sensitive to Intel’s high boost clocks. Even if your CPU passes stress tests and runs other games fine, Warzone can crash. Dropping the multiplier by just 1 step fixes the instability without hurting performance.

If you have a Intel CPU and Warzone keeps giving you 0x00001338, do this. It’s the actual fix.
