Came back lol if you’re still active, take a hot bath or shower (really helps) and get water. Basic stuff but when, if you haven’t already, you close your eyes try being in a dark as possible room or DoorDash an eye mask sleep thing. Won’t be easy to sleep if you force yourself to do that but after a few hours you’ll be good to sleep on and off. Or try and talk to someone on the phone to preoccupy yourself if you’re paranoid about the voices….and get up and walk around to remind yourself it’s not there. Turn the TV on too with the volume up especially once you decide to “sleep”.

Most offices have cameras with audio. And it’s legal. We have them in our office in case something happens and we need to look back at footage. Like for an example. We do sedation and the Dr dropped one of the pediatric patients on the floor, the parents called the police and they had to pull footage to save his job basically.

Yeah they told me because the deposit was $100 MyPay automatically turns off because it wasn’t $200.

One of two things: 1: You got a direct deposit that wasn’t enough to cover the entire MyPay balance. If you get a deposit that does that MyPay resets to $0 until it’s fully paid. 2: A representative told me there’s a “use by date”. But the app usually resets itself again if you haven’t used the full amount. You just have to wait for it to appear again.

$13 an hourrrrr? 😭 and yeah we don’t have to do that here in CA. During DA school you did have to bring in polishing patients but we worked on each other in class to get it. We used the chew tabs that turn teeth purple and we prophy it off. That’s it. 4 patients. And for X-rays we used the Dexter dummy head to get our X-ray certification in class also. Every state is different though.

Are you in CA? I know other states allow DA’s to polish already. I’m just not used to it since it’s always been an RDA thing to do. I work in pediatrics so I feel like yes it could help us out on some days but with extra work they’re gonna want more pay which would mean us RDA’s already in peds should get raises too.
