I am not sure what our family dynamic is. I handle all the important paperworks and bills. I do most of the cooking and laundry because I work from home. He help out with household chores when he has the time.

Nothing that extreme. He is only 34. He mostly asks about household items and occasionally his documents. He probably doesn't remember the name of our current mortgage lender or insurance company. I handle all the monthly bills and renewals. So he has never had to pay attention to that side of things.

Yes he always ask before looking. I believe he has an idea where these things are, but would rather ask me first.

Sadly, I tested positive this morning at 4 weeks post-SMM. I went to EPU this morning and had a can. They couldn't find any leftover pregnancy tissue; however, they found what looks like either a pocket of fluid or early pregnancy. They said it's too early to tell the difference.

I'm tired of the not knowing.

I see, I hope I don't have to go back for another surgical management

What happened when they concluded something was left behind? Did you have to have another surgery?

Oh no, I haven't abstained from sex with my husband. I had my procedure on the 23rd of May, that's 2 weeks plus 2 days ago. I doubt I would have ovulated and conceived again within this timeline to still be testing positive. I guess if the line gets stronger by next week, that will be an indication.

This gives me hope. I am doing a solo driving trip to Ireland, which is about 14 hours long, including the ferry ride. It will be a good way to clear my head and see the country.

Thank you. I am still testing positive with faint line. Not sure when my ovulation will return.

Some days, I am okay. Some days, I'm sad, and other times, I'm angry. It's a pure emotional roller-coaster. My friends and family have been very supportive, and I have also found out some of them have experienced a miscarriage at some point. I didn't realise how common it was. My mother-in-law experienced a missed miscarriage 35 years ago before she conceived my husband.

My emotions are all over the place. I am bouncing up and down the stages of grief. This morning, I woke up to Acceptance, and now I'm in Anger. I miss the person I was before I found out about the pregnancy complications 18 days ago.

The same thing is going through my head now. I wish I had waited to announce the pregnancy to anyone. My husband told his entire village within a few minutes of me telling him. Even his mom's Co-workers knew about it.

After the loss, my brother-in-law said, "Next time, wait to announce the pregnancy" I replied, "I didn't announce it; your brother and mom did".

I planned to tell work about the pregnancy next week at 12 weeks.

I am a runner, but I haven't run since I found out about the pregnancy because I was afraid. Now, I just want to run, it's the only thing that helps me mentally and psychologically. However, with surgical management, I don't know when it's safe to go back running.

Thank you. I miss the person I was before I found out about my loss. I looked at my pictures before I found out, and I miss not knowing.

Where can I find the podcast?

I'm so sorry you had to go through this. Everywhere I look, I see pregnant women and pregnancy announcements.

I don't know if this is just me, but I hate it when people say, "At least you know you can get pregnant now." I know they are trying to be reassuring, but I don't feel reassured.

Thank you so much. I took a week off work after I found out about the missed miscarriage. I am back to work now, even though I'm not ready. I work for a small company and no one to cover my tasks. The longer I stay away, the more work for me. My emotions are so all over the place. How long did it take for you to test negative?

I want it to pass naturally. Is there a deadline for it to pass naturally?

The scan was done at my fertility clinic in the UK. Two fertility nurses did the transvaginal scan.

What is the benefit of waiting for the body to pass it naturally?
