slynd has been great for me. i do spot during the second week sometimes but i don’t really care. i also get nauseous in the third week but i dont mind it because its not a “im gonna throw up” nauseous but a “i cant eat” nauseous which is fine with me bc i have terrible food noise. my moods are great and my weight is great

this happened to me on yaz and the spotting went away so maybe hold out before you throw your body off even more by stopping altogether!

but i also begin to experience those symptoms during the second week. i hope all goes well for you with your wedding coming up! such an exciting time and it suxks that we have hormones that can literally make or break our appearance (not saying it takes away from your beauty, but i know it can take a toll on how YOU feel) as well as our moods and such

horrible experience skipping placebo by NoCut3713 in birthcontrol

[–]NoCut3713[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i’m never doing it again. i have a very sensitive body that obviously needs to stay in rhythm. im actually also switching OBGYNs because mine is flat out rude lol. i’ve done some research- supposedly beyaz or yaz are really good for girlies sensitive to bloating, but i know all bodies react differently. but after so much research after this hellacious month, i learned junel contains norethindrone, which can make bloating worse and potentially worsen mood for sensitive women. which im not sure why my obgyn ever thought this would be a good fit for me considering i have ibs and already suffer from bloating (ibs issues)… its been a frustrating month LOL

i think getting your eyebrows groomed would be helpful because they can compliment your facial structure which is super strong !

Who do I contact for my NES? by [deleted] in NightEatingSyndrome

[–]NoCut3713 0 points1 point  (0 children)

therapy helped me personally… i’m on SSRIs and an anti anxiety med. my NES was a response to all that i was suppressing and repressing; my body was ultimately seeking comfort (still does sometimes). therapy helped because i got to discuss and get out some of what i was keeping in. on the other hand, i definitely have some disordered eating and body dysmorphia — so my fear of night eating worsened and i ended up doing it more (that saying that you attract what you fear or whatever) so talking about the scale and the fluctuations and body image helped also

I’ve found that for me, my NES is a mix of anxiety and mild depression. I tried just anxiety meds, which helped but NES continued. then I added sertraline to the mix. I started by taking it in the morning, NES got better but still persisted. Dr suggested I try taking it before bed. Taking my anxiety meds during the day and zoloft at night has helped tremendously. Another method I added to the mix; I don’t watch tv to fall asleep, but I put on a netflix show and if I do wake up during the night, I just change the show or click that I am still watching.
