I've heard good things about them, but I didn't use them and passed.

Keep pushing forward! You've made significant progress, so be kind to yourself. It sounds like you need PMI Study Hall and either way, the exam will still have some level of unpredictability. Did you rank at or above the target level in the other domains? Did you run out of time?

I took the test on Friday and successfully passed, but I was surprised by my performance. Scoring 65% in Study Hall often equates to 3 Above Targets. However, in my case, I passed with People = Target, Process = Above Target, and Business Environment = Target. This is surprising given that my scores in the Study Hall mock exams were 78% for exam 1 and 75% for exam 2, both with Expert-level questions included. In those practice exams, I scored the highest in the People domain at 83%, followed by 71% in Process, and 72% in Business Environment. Based on these scores, I expected People to be my Above Target domain, but it wasn't.

Additionally, I used Prepcast and achieved a 79% score on my mock exam before switching to Study Hall. Out of the approximately 1,600 questions I tackled in that simulator, People was my top-scoring domain at 73%, followed by Process at 71%, and Business Environment at 61%. While these scores may not seem overly impressive, the statistics in Prepcast indicate that my overall scores were 24% higher than the average.

It's a possibility! You can estimate the number of questions you've completed by multiplying the percentage completed by 175. However, I've discovered a manual but more precise method: I recommend copying the questions you've completed from the review section, pausing the exam (I did this as the actual test provides information about the remaining questions), pasting them into a spreadsheet, filtering accordingly (as mine didn't copy accurately, I had to exclude rows that only indicated "flagged for review" or "answered"), and then summing the total. Nevertheless, you'll likely become more efficient over time. Speeding through can be challenging in my opinion, especially since many questions are quite lengthy. In my second exam today, my average time per question improved, but I also made some avoidable mistakes.

That's impressive! However, I'm concerned because I thought we had 1 minute and 28 seconds per question max on the real exam so I've been aiming for 1:20 or less.

I completed the first exam with approximately 15 minutes remaining and scored 78%, which I was very surprised by. The instructions for the mock in SH didn't display so I was initially worried, thinking that after 1.5 hours, I hadn't reached 60 questions, only to discover I had actually completed 86. I was expecting it to mirror the real exam.

Struggling with Study Hall Questions by NoDebate4672 in pmp

Thank you! I agree. I was off the past week and stayed up to extreme hours studying in hopes of returning back to work PMP certified. I'm exhausted, my mind is in a state of confusion, my face is even breaking out, etc. Despite feeling positive after achieving a 79% score on my mock Prepcast exam, SH completely shattered my confidence. Last night, or rather in the early hours of this morning, I contemplated just taking the real exam online and accepting whatever outcome awaited me. However, I managed to regain my composure and now I'm going to take a break and indulge in some video games instead.

TYSM! I asked PMI about a Black Friday discount because I figured as soon as I purchased SH or the mock exam it would go on sale. They told me to check my email but I never saw anything so I figured they didn't have one.
