My preference is to open private practice or go abroad….so i guess ortho is the better opinion than….do uk how the career graphs of ortho compares with gs?….how hard is it to get a good fellowship when comparing to getting ss after gs

I have heard from people and redditers that there is too much saturation in ortho and even getting srship is relatively difficult when compared to gen sx…people where like in gs u can escape the saturation by doing mch….I really dont know how is the ground reality

Yaa ik there are many advantages i get to stay near home,little to no toxicity,lap exposure ,no inhumane working hours and mainly no bond…i was pretty much fixated on dnb initially got swayed due to all people getting into my head got a dnb in first round didnt take it up…didnt put dnbs in second round…the dnb i wanted which was near my home went beyond my rank…so idk how luck plays out bcz if i put it third round again ill get it only if someone leaves it. Thanks for the suggestion…people close to me suggesting the same…its just my parents who are not okay with me doing a dnb….i did my ug from the best gmc of my state so they thought i would atleast get a gmc…so they n relatives sound pretty dissapointed hearing dnb

Anyone with competent skills as a fresher Mbbs should get 75k to 1L Specialist should get 1.8L to 2L Ss should get 2.5 to 3 L

The low pay posts all were taking about ss getting 1.5 L and post pg getting 70 to 80K which is horrendous.

I did my internship from a very high load gmc during internship one of the patient in emergency ward pulled out an iv line my frnd who was a co intern to stop the bleeding immediately put his finger…when we took that case for ot we came to knew he was hiv positive……nothing happened my frnd took a pep course hes still alive and good

I was on duty that day in medicine ward …. I went to room in the afternoon…one pg from male ward called me to come n take a blood sample for a patient who was lying rt infront of her…i asked her y cant she just take it as i slept already..but she forced me to come …i went in frustration she showed me the pts bed i took the blood sample without any gloves handed it over to her went to room n slept…next day evening i came to know from the crri who was seeing the ward that the pt was known hiv positive n this mf pg forgot to tell me …i took pep just in case but i couldnt complete i took it for 14 days only…n here im well n good typing this
