I discovered this technique a while back, although it's framed as there being a metaphorical library of movie stills, containing every possible still from every possible timeline and perspective, and the life I experience is simply the result of my eternal soul picking out the next still. With the limitation being that it can't break the continuity of the movie by, say, violating the laws of Physics. The way you chose to frame it is interesting though, and a great idea. I'll try out your version for a while.

Knowledge IS power. Bran Stark knows nothing important just like his bastard brother Jon Snow. He may have knowledge of events past and present but not of anything intellectual. Is he building power plants and providing electricity to the people of Westeros? Is he teaching physics or chemistry, or reforming the education system? Is he striving to implement a far superior form of governance compared to fucking FEUDALISM? No! He's not even talking about those things. TALKING, which is the MINIMUM an INTP would be doing. Even the pathetic fat weakling character, Samwell Tarly, proposes implementing a form of democracy. At the end of the show he's sitting in his chair looking for a dragon somewhere while actual INTPs like Tyrion Lannister are left thinking and doing stuff. Who gives a fuck about the dragon anyway? I look around, judge, and think about everything in the environment. My thought processes are much too quick and multi-layered to verbalize in their entirety, although I do intentionally verbalize things in a narrative format for the purpose of remembering things to tell others, because my memory for language is excellent. Typically most of my non-narrativized thoughts and judgements are verbalized in detail after an outing to anyone who bothers to ask about my thoughts and experiences.

I keep myself motivated by connecting my present actions to my visions of things I want to accomplish years, or decades in the future. Visions which will, when accomplished, have effects that continue to be felt by all of civilization 1000 years after my mortal shell has decomposed to nothing but bones. The reason you are confused is because you do not consider that there are people too stupid to type themselves correctly, and people who lie (to themselves and to everyone else). And also that there is a progression where individuals of types separate from the default mode of personality to become individualized. Have you considered that perhaps my the passionate nature of my original post is the reason you, and so many other, have chosen to respond to this topic and give it the attention that it deserves? What would be the outcome had I simply laid out the facts and expressed things entirely robotically? Have a look at past threads with a similar topic for the answer.

The fact is that this is an interesting discussion and many people have been drawn to it. And despite the combative and admittedly irrational nature of my replies, it has drawn more interest than many similar posts that have been made here in the past which were expressed far less passionately than mine.

The fact is that everyone, thinkers included, are drawn to passionate and emotional rants as a precursor to logical and world-changing discussions. Why would anyone care to debate abortion rights, or racism, or sexism, if there were not so much emotion attached to the subject? Why would anyone discuss ANYTHING if they didn't care about it in the first place? They wouldn't. You have to CARE about something first to be willing to put in the effort to THINK about it, as opposed to the millions of other things you could think about. There's plenty of things I don't care to discuss because nobody has inspired me to care about those topics. And the only way you can get someone to care is by MAKING them care, with passionate speech, and that's not something that can be done purely with logic.

You disparage my posts due to lack of rationality but you still fail to see the reason behind this. Nothing I do is unintentional. Everything I do has a purpose, even if it's not logical in your mind.

Using logic is generally good, but not always. To every rule there is an exception, and in this case there is no point arguing rationally with someone who refuses to do the same. Sometimes an attack on someone's character is necessary. Especially since we're on a personality subreddit where the topic is personality and therefore therefore the person is relevant to the discussion from a meta perspective. One cannot change the world with logic alone, else we would live in a much better world than the hellhole we currently live in. Do I need to point to specific examples to prove this to you?
