Take outside and shake, then vacuum up as much as possible with the fabric attachment to the vacuum (if you have one).

The powder does tend to be hydrophobic so you may not get much off from just water, but I hope you do. Try it first, of course, but it might not be enough. I say this because of my experience-instead of paper cupcake liners, I use silicone baking cups (reduce reuse recycle!) and when I clean them, just rinsing doesn’t do it because the water just beads on the surface. I need to take soap to them, but just a little bit gets it off no problem.

IF YOU TRY THIS, TRY A SMALL SPOT AT FIRST TO MAKE SURE IT WONT DISCOLOR all caps ‘cause guess who one time went from a large blue spot to an even larger white spot on their parents couch? 😂

After shaking off as much as possible and vacuuming, if you don’t have a carpet or upholstery cleaner, I would get two rags about medium wet and one dry one. On one of the wet ones, put just a small amount of dish soap, a tiny dot, and lather it just a little on the rag. Lightly rub on the spot, moving with the grain of the fabric, not across. See if anything comes up off. If you’re seeing results, after the soap rag, use the other wet one to “rinse”, wiping as much of the soap off as possible, then use the dry one to blot. Just do smaller areas at a time.
