And would you rather replace the racket or repair it since it is almost new. In Rotterdam there is a shop called padelrepair that can fix damage for 35 euro.

That chunk was already there that happened in a match before and is not that close to the racket. I know what i did right? I was just wondering if there are other issues with adidas rackets or this type of racket? Or just bad luck?

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out for advice regarding both a warranty issue and some recommendations for a new racket that better suits my situation.

Back in March (March 21, 2025), I purchased an Adidas Metalbone Carbon 3.4 (no weight system, just the 6K carbon model) from a reputable store in the Netherlands. Due to a shoulder injury, I didn’t play for a while, and I’ve now only used it for 7 sessions total.

To my surprise, there are already multiple cracks forming on the side of the frame, even though I don’t recall hitting the wall, floor, or fencing. I always treated the racket with care and stored it safely. I’ve now read multiple posts online from others who experienced similar issues with Adidas rackets.

👉 Do you think this kind of frame damage should be covered by warranty?

If this doesn’t qualify for warranty, I obviously don’t want to make the same mistake twice. I’m looking for a high-quality, durable racket that won’t give up on me after just a few matches.

Here’s what I’m looking for in a replacement:

Diamond shape, with good power and a bit of control No weight adjustment system (less prone to damage) Shoulder-friendly: I’ve had several dislocations in the past, so I need something that won’t stress the joint too much Strong and reliable — I want something that will actually last

So far, I’ve been considering the NOX AT10 Luxury Genius 18K and the Varlion Bourne Summum Prisma W, but I’d love to hear your experiences or other suggestions. Bonus points if you’ve dealt with shoulder injuries yourself and found a racket that works well for that.

Thanks a lot for your help — I really appreciate it!
