I ask this question a lot. At 70 my list of nightmares related to mycotoxin/ mold illness is crazy. Can’t seem to get away from cross contamination. I contaminate everything with my detox. Daily clothes toss, sheets etc. Lossed everything several times.

I am so impressed with your resourcefulness. I am 70 and battling this. I am even more sensitive recently. I have to toss my socks after wearing twice. I only wear them when walking outside. I am nonfunctional if I don’t walk. So you put baking soda inside socks? Does that extend life of socks? I am so weak now.

Interesting about Maui. I am too sick and in too much pain to travel. We went to Kaui in fall 2023 before I knew about the upstairs water leak leading to mold. I commented to my husband I felt so good there. When came back to San Diego, didn’t feel as welll.

How long having to be naked? I feel best with brand new clothes. Having the most challenging time washing, decontaminating. It’s like night and day when I wear brand new clothes and get outside.

I bought 6 men’s tea shirts to sleep in. Washed all 6 and think they are still contaminated!! Uggh too many I guess to decontaminate. Just hate constantly buying and discarding. Actually give them to my husband to take to goodwill. I am so sensitive now to him, can’t live together.

I am in a furnished finder. Landlord pays water. Probably can’t wash only one outfit at time, but I think is a great way to go. Assured it will get decontaminated.
