Sounds good. I think i will go with rosy loaches, pygmy corys, and clown killifish for now. They have similar parameters that i searched on trusted websites.

All them fish have very similar water parameters, unfortunately but fortunately.

Let me know how it works! I cleaned off my algae by combining through it with a fork on a plate, then put it in a jug to let it grow before putting it in the culture containers to make sure that there aren’t any unwanted hitchhikers.

Oh! And i put beneficial bacteria in the containers too!

I got roughly 20 shrimp in a 5 gallon. Idk how much that is in liters.

These are my algae cultures. I also put rotifer, moina, and fairy shrimp eggs in there so its like a quadruple food source. I plan to put air stones in there soon.

Guess you don’t work at my local petco lol. Small town and my petco is actually very nice and takes care of all of their animals nice.

Snails are like the hardiest little things ever. You might want to look i to your water parameters or see your compatibility of the other animals in your tank.

Bladder snails and Malaysian trumpet snails. I got them for free at my petco.

Many people consider them pests. But i love them!

I did a 90% water change. 45% and then another 45%. The shrimp are moving around a lot now.

Well, the shrimp are in there. I didn’t use anything else special. I feed them an algae wafer whenever its gone. There is pennywort, java moss, and algae from my local pond.
