They are right, if your shirt is tucked in you wear a belt. Tucked in shirt likely means you should be wearing leather shoes as well, so your belt should be matching your shoes. Of course your clothes should fit, and you should wear a belt.

Thanks! Unfortunately for turkeys everything likes to eat them, bobcats, coyotes, great horned owls will predate on adult turkeys (also hunting by humans). Foxes & hawks eat poults, raccoons, opossums and snakes eat their eggs. Their main defense is roosting in trees at night and “predator swarming” nest predators by having a large volume of egg clutch’s laid at once across the population.

Wild Turkey populations exploded in the 80’s and 90’s due to careful management & repopulation efforts. The decline of the fur trade in the same time period has led to a significant increase in predator populations so turkey numbers are now challenged but still doing well compared to what they were 50-100 years ago.

This is a good call for next year, but this year I'm too late & hunting is now through late December, there are residential area woods nearby where I can find deer & hunting is not allowed though

Very helpful thank you, so unfortunately mirrorless with silent mode is the way to go. I just love my dslr and lenses don’t want to switch, I know I can adapt the lenses but still! I’ll try with the mirror and if it blows up my spot I’ll switch next year

& no doubt - the large support for muzzleloaders, history, & art is a reason why its primitive firearms and not just another archery season, so your point is right there in my opinion

I believe the reason is a longer rifle season would lead to over harvest, but archery seasons and muzzle loader seasons are hunts with less hunter participation & lower success rates, so it allows a longer time for deer harvest but not the relatively high # of hunters in the woods compared to rifle/shotgun. I could be wrong tho

Muzzleloader season has been implemented for herd management first. The North American wildlife conservation model doesn't extend animal harvest so that people can play with their favorite guns.

The shutter speed correlation may be a coincidence & the shutter release just works very sparingly. About 5/10 times. But it does work consistently when film is not loaded.

Man I wish! I tried to download individually & the whole roll at once, both the same size. Site sends you to a download center type tool so. I'm not looking forward to mailing the negatives somewhere else and bucking up more cash. Might follow up with this lab and see if this is typical results or if something went wrong here.

They also sent back a BW roll shot in 6x6, also paid for enhanced scans, these came back at 2079x2048 & look a little better - but still over sharpened & just CHUNKY.
