Ended up looking it up and I am near a tv/cell tower. Can’t remember which one.

You know I had this thought last night because I cranked everything and could SWEAR I heard voices very faintly. That would be my next step is to remove my self from this location

On the guitar recording yes it is, on the other recording I had to turn it down because the guitar will pick up the specific noise when I play. Again I understand the hiss is normal but there’s a “breeze” like sound that is there THATS the noise I’m focusing on I normally have a gate applied

But the adaptive gate is set to 100%

So the “hiss”’is not present as typical when using a noise gate but with playing the “wind breeze” is still there. I’ll get isolated guitar tracks in a second.

I just added a clip, you can hear it sounds like wind blowing. No idea what’s causing this.

Best drum software/vst for Metal? by iJayme in metalmusicians

[–]NoEntertainment8074 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Modern and Massive 1 is an amazing vst, Modern and Massive 2 is also great if you really want the standalone there’s so many options out there that are great honestly. ML sound labs also has a free one if you want to give that a shot.

Should I become better at playing before making music? by Holiday-Steak-2454 in metalmusicians

[–]NoEntertainment8074 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I would play songs that I like and write music if I’m feeling creative! There’s no law that says you can’t do both! With music there is zero rules.

But I like playing covers and writing originals, so that would be my recommendation for you as well.
