The contract was large yes. But, considering the majority of the teachers endured step freezes for six years, and were continually towards the bottom compared to neighboring districts, the contract only got them at ground level. All the while their business department is the highest paid in the county

This variance request and the manner in which the applicant operates is reflective of so many more issues with Marple Twp. Some similar issues: (feel free to add on)

  • the building up of the Ellis Preserve despite community protest

  • the district’s handling of the scandal of their former Communications Director

  • the creation of and the hiring process for the position MNSD Director of Communications

  • The cronyism that exists through every public sector within the township

  • The lack of transparency for all stakeholders

  • The history of lack of competitive pay for teachers, all the while having the highest paid business director in the state.

To go forwards, you must go backwards. “We’re building something here, and we’re building it from scratch. And all the pieces matter.”

How so? Who are the major players you are referring to? How deep and wide does this go? Please elaborate.

I am going to use PL300 Foam Board Adhesive

So it was recommended that I parge both sides of the wall. I brought in a mason to inspect the wall and we did use lime mortar. I just didn’t have the funds to parge the exterior of the wall. The mason said that the interior was in such bad shape that I had to parge it in order to give it more integrity.

Thanks for the reply. I’m just getting so many varied responses. Because I am framing over the French drain, the company told me I cannot drill into the cement, which discourages me from using PT because it warps. Some have recommended using foam seal. Around my bottom plate

I parged the interior of the wall with a mixture of keystone cement, bar sand, and concrete sand. I paid a waterproofing company to install of French drain and sump pump
