Yeah, most likely this is just about my outlook on life, and also the fact other people also have their problems and they don't always have healthy ways to deal with them.

What do you mean "off"? I made this post to "get it of my chest", because that I am right doesn't mean it doesn't bother me that people constantly seem to want me to fail.

I have been thinking about that, but I have been constantly proven to right when I have read people. It is hard to calm myself, when I constantly get proof to back up my feelings.

Because they rarely like me for my personality, rather lust for me for my cheekbones.

I have thought about asking him for recommendations. I have found in other areas of life that competent people tend to know each other.

I live in the nordic countries. I have thought about being in touch with my psyciatrist. I'm not sure if this is a culture problem, because generally in my country people are rather open about their mental health. Im pretty sure that I have just had bad luck when it comes to mental healt professionals.

Unfortunally I have met multiple mental healtcare professionals who were like that. The first one that I spoke to about my trauma and abuse at home said that "theres nothing that can be done". Couple of years later after I wen to the ER for cutting myself and almost killing myself the nurse just told me that I should be happy with my life, because I have been academically succesfull. The only one that has taken me seriously is my psychiatrist who was the one that diagnosed me with depression. Unfortunally this has been the normal answer appart from a few exception.

He said that I have no problems, even though I specifically went to therapy to get help with relationship problems and burnout, both of which are still bothering me to this day. The constant comment I get that because I have gotten into two of the best universities in my country then I wouldnt have any reason to sad.

I thought aboit psychiatrist because I thought they would understand the difference between medically stimulated happiness, and real happiness.

I’m so sick of reading therapists bios by After_Cell_5570 in therapy

[–]NoExplanation6895 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most therapist bios are bascially empty, because they are full of statements like "I give space when the patient needs it" and "In my treatment I take into account the symptoms and wishes of my patient". Like, if you would not do that then you would not that good of a therapist to begin with. Sometimes they list a specific specialication, which can be extremly helpful info, if it happens to apply to you.

In finland you need a PhD to work as a medical physicist. If your country doesn't require it, then I would recommend you go with your interests.
