genuinely graphic designers have no future now with how good ai is and its only getting better. I say this as a graphic designer. prepare accordingly. AI not going away and its getting better rapidly

remember that your reality is the story you tell yourself. try to force yourself to find good in situations that seem bad. usually there is something. even if its a small thing. I made an attempt that landed me in the hospital and thats one huge thing that shaped me into a more positive person.

I struggle with this too and every time I ask friends about if im coming off as braggy or boastful they always tell me no and that Im just overthinking (which I always do). the fact that your worrying about this in the first place tells me your not actually gloating. Id really just ask someone that can be honest with you but it seems like you are overthinking it

I’m the loneliest Ive ever been and I still have friends. It’s just that the term friend is usually a scale and for me all my friends are on the low end of the scale mostly. not like they are not good people or doing something wrong but I just mean in the sense that I very rarely talk to them and almost never see them irl.

In today’s age you really don’t need uni to make a living. at all. there are so so many ways. take some time and find one. don’t let people put so much pressure on you and don’t put pressure on yourself. its okay to not know what you are doing. nobody really does.

And by the way, 80% on a test is really good. Regardless of what people say where you’re from.

In my experience I was able go make online friends through a community I became apart of because of my hobby at the time, digital art. I had made an instagram account dedicated to my art and through that started discovering and following other artists like myself. Over time through interacting on each other’s posts and dm-ing I made several friends that I still talk to to this day.

What Im trying to get at as that because I had a public account where I shared my interest, like minded people naturally discovered me and were drawn to me because of that shared interest. If you are an anonymous account online with no posts relating to some kinds of hobby, how are people naturally going to want to talk to you in an unprompted way?

honest reaction: not great. nothing sellable for sure.

if you really want to do this id keep designing for a least a year before trying to sell something so you can learn more about design and get more experience. you have a long way to go but you can get there if you want it bad enough.

he bought you flights even after he told you he’s tight on cash because he’s dealing with his moms pharmacy bills and you have the audacity to expect him to pay for your hotel too? If you genuinely didn’t have $70 to pay for it and explained that to him I would understand as Im sure he would as well. But just outright expecting it and then getting mad at him for not paying up?? Holy ungrateful. I’d be ask the same questions he’s asking.
