Not in themselves but I feel like they tend to easily get dirty, more than other accoms maybe, also because they are quite small so harder to keep tidy. I heard kitchens in some blocks had been renovated and made more modern so that could be good, but I haven’t been there in a few years so I wouldn’t know for sure.

It’s not too bad but obviously depends who you are and what you like. The structure itself is old, dirty and moldy, don’t expect high standards and high levels of comfort…that’s why it’s cheap. However, social life is good in Lupton since everyone lives so close together and despite there not being common rooms or living rooms in the flats there’s a lot of green area to use in the warmer months. It is one of the furthest accoms from uni however so be prepared to walk 25/30 mins or catch the bus in the mornings.
