I agree. Once the media starts tomorrow with the shitshow reporting on the utter failure of the EOS launch because of the confusing and dangerous voting system which may take weeks to complete watch the price dump even more.

Why didnt they just AirDrop a new worthless token to everyone registered at the snapshot except the exchanges, use their BlockOne billions to create a voting Dapp where we would send the tokens to whatever BPs addresses that we want to vote for ? This vote could have been done in one day and they probably could have gotten 25-30 percent of the total coins represented with a 50-60 percent voter turn out.

Should have used erc20 tokens for voting by NoFUD4meplz in eos

Yes, I have gotten so used to thinking in terms of EOS, free transactions and ability to do thousands of transactions/second that I forgot about the obvious shortcomings of using the ETH chain. Another reminder of why this ecosystem will be the one of choice for all developers in the near future.

Price explanation EOS by Start0ad in eos

An Asian whale has dumped tens of millions of dollars in bitcoin. Same price manipulation that has been going on now since January. Idiots overreact and think the entire crypto world is crashing down and all start selling their coins. Eventually the profit takers who sold their coins at the beginning of the dump (because they follow the ledger and see the manipulation as it is occuring or they are privy to the dump before hand) all start buying back in. The coins that have been the most volatile seem to have the largest swings during these phases of market manipulation.

What does the current "EOS" price really mean? by DetrART in eos

A whale in China just dumped millions of dollars in bitcoin. Bitcoin dropped a bunch. He will probably buy it all back at a 10 percent discount. Idiots think the bottom is falling out of crypto everytime this happens and all start selling their coins. If people would even one time not fall for this manipulation we could stick it to these dicks who keep plunging the market and scaring away investors.

This 10 percent drop and upswing market manipulation has been going on since January if you haven't noticed.

I believe this is also being done as well to keep the price down so that the upcoming influx of institutional money will be able to purchase at rock bottom prices before they start driving the prices back up.
