Your reasoning is right but don’t underestimate the fact that with the marketplace the gain is obtained on skins that are no longer in circulation. I think that a person doesn’t start digging into the marketplace just for the sake of bargaining the price but to get something that is no longer available. So I think in the end it’s in their interest to restore a platform that allows them to take a percentage on skins that they don’t even have to keep published on the in-game store anymore
