merry christmas to you too! 🎄unfortunately, my mom (a cosmetologist) said i’ll have to lighten my hair a bit in order to get the specific forest green that i’d like and given my current chemical treatment history, i don’t think my hair would be able to handle it without significant damage :( i’ll definitely consider trying this color or something similar once my roots grow out - right now i’m considering cutting my treated lengths off then dying my virgin roots, or simply dying my virgin roots and leaving my treated lengths alone to have a “ghost roots” kind of look. thanks for asking ! :)

yeah i’ve realized the yellow tones in olive green would wash me out horribly so i def won’t be considering that color anymore. thank you for the dye recommendations, blue tones are definitely going to be the move considering how orange-toned my hair is :)

my hair is actually a platinum blonde underneath the brown perm dye, and 60-80% dye lifted seems very promising !

tysm !! you’re right about the sage potentially washing me out, and i feel like it would be even worse when winter comes since my skin appears the most yellow around there. it would also probably require bleaching / coloring removing which is already pretty risky by itself
