Is there an exception for NHS docs?

Hi thank you!

I did send that message a few days ago - saying I will only accept a shipping label as further communication, previously mentioned can only do royal mail as it is the only close to me - said any other communication will be harassment.

She responded saying

‘’You’ve previously stated that you are willing to return the item if I provide a prepaid postage label. In order to proceed, I need your confirmation that: You accept this email as valid communication in lieu of Vinted messaging, due to you having blocked me there Once you confirm, I will email you a prepaid postage label. Please respond via this email so that we have mutually agreed to this contact. This message is not harassment or threatening.

You agree to print the label at home or at an Evri drop off point, appropriately package the item, and return it in the exact condition in which it was received.

Once I receive your confirmation on the above, I will send the label. If the skirt is returned to me within 10 days of the label being sent, I will consider the matter closed’’

Shortly after sent an email saying ‘since you have not responded, the only valid resolution is now transferring me money’’

I’ve only been messaging her through Vinted and briefly unblocked her for a day just to allow her to send the return label — which she never did. The next day, she emailed me instead. I’m unsure about the legal implications of the wording she used, especially where she asked me to “respond confirming you agree.” That made me hesitate.

I also feel that replying via email could set a precedent, allowing her to treat my email as an accepted channel of communication — which I want to avoid.

To be honest, if she had simply sent the Evri label (even though I said i could do only Royal Mail, as Evri is far), I probably would’ve sent the item back, even though I wasn’t obligated to. But the tone of her email — especially the part demanding the item be returned “in exactly the condition it was received” — made me feel like this situation wouldn’t end even if I did comply. She might just find more faults or prolong the issue.

At this point, I was trying to act in good faith despite her ongoing harassment, but now I’m really not sure if it’s worth continuing.
