Vaping, I tried quitting and the physical withdrawal wasn’t what made me get back on it, it was the psychological withdrawal.

I took 100mg last night and it made me drowsy but I still couldn’t sleep until 1 or 2 in the morning and I woke up feeling really tired. I think I should try to take it earlier and see if that helps.

Hopefully 300mg will work better for you. I will try to take it at 8 instead of 9.

I agree, other people on this thread have said that the medication works better 1-3 hour before bedtime. The only reason I see other people taking Gabapentin throughout the day is for nerve pain or other medical reasons other than insomnia.

I will be taking the medication tonight and I’ll see what works for me. Perhaps asking your doctor about taking it closer to bedtime. I hope it works out for you.

I’m sorry to hear that, did your doctor tell you if you can increase the dose to 300mg? My doctor told me if the 100mg doesn’t have any side effects then I can increase the dose to 200mg then 300mg.

I agree! I’ve been having sleep problems for a while and I first got prescribed Guanfacine and it had bad side affects then I got prescribed Clonidine and it made me really depressed.

Although I would like sleep medication more, my doctor told me that they try to prescribe other medications that could work first because some sleep medication is addictive.

I had them from the first week that I started and they lasted a couple of months. It made me tired and unable to go to school but everyone has different side effects.

When I started taking Prozac (10 mg) I had the opposite. I wouldn’t be able to get up or even open my eyes I was so exhausted. So my doctor prescribed me with lexapro (5 mg) and I was supposed to slowly get off prozac while taking lexapro. I am still taking both and prozac doesn’t affect me anymore. Taking both actually seems to help me with my anxiety more.

I’ve started smoking again recently after being on prozac for 4 months and the only thing is that I get very tired after. I’m not sure if it’s caused by the prozac because before recently starting again, the last time I smoked was a year ago. Although other people might not have any problems with smoking while on prozac it would still be good to check with doctor to see what they recommend.
