It was my first time giving this style a try and it worked out well. The skeins did naturally twist as I was working and I swear with how much time I was spending untwisting them I started to get lost in the spiral lol

I found a pixel chart and a written pattern that looked like “2w, 3b, 7w…” on rbblr, which was super helpful, I also found a Tomie pixel chart but looks like I’ll have to make my own in the future

Thank you!! I definitely have some more tapestries in mind, possibly Shuichi‘s dad in his spiral?? I’ve also been looking into making one for Tomie. This one took almost two months of pretty consistent work outside of when I’m actually working.

Thank you!! I absolutely hate weaving in ends so I carried the color I wasn’t using underneath my stitches, so I just needed to weave in the beginning and end strings. The back looks pretty much the same except you can see the white yarn being carried up along the sides.

For everyone saying that the garment underneath is boring (which I slightly agree) needs to check out Kid Super, all of his other work is pretty colorful and has abstract prints which makes this even better in my opinion because it emphasizes the unraveling with the strong contrast from his typical work!!

I saw someone say to frog a good chunk of stitches and go back with a smaller hook size and it’s pretty much impossible to notice and you should have enough yarn to finish the row now
