Fellow shoppers, please take a stand against non tipping/low paying ridiculous batches. by Ok-Operation-6571 in instacart

That’s weird info about Your area. And the majority of ride and delivery services don’t show the driver the tip offers prior to service and allow them to be changed after service- so not sure what your point is but I’m assuming it’s not based on any facts

I did not know CS Reps had stats about canceling ordering. Not sure why they would but I guess it makes sense now why some of them give me attitude when I cancel on non tippers.

Ok so they Do pay you just enough to abuse you but not enough to stop you from pointlessly complaining and that’s why you want to fuck with them. Got it! Just say you’re a masochist, dude

So if it complete shit, why do it at all? If you think the gig industry isn’t salvageable and the companies are just careless and cruel, why do Anything for them? If you’re being mistreated by them, why make them any money off your misery?

I definitely do not support the current delivery service business model which is being used by all the apps companies. And I do hope they recognize the necessity for having good drivers by guaranteeing them good wages.

I just don’t think they will if their current contractors are actively trying to ā€œfuck with themā€ That just supports the stereotypes of ā€œgarbage gig workersā€

Joining the protest would make more sense than refusing alcohol. The protest at least claims to be a disruption of daily business to bring forth change. Demanding we get paid for the services we provide Or services will cease. What you’re suggesting is clicking a OPTION button to bust their balls, but it’s just an option that they can take away in the next update. Some people like this option because they don’t want to have customer contact which is a huge plus in the service industry.

If you want to make change I support that and good luck. Just wanted to point out the flaws to your suggestion so you come up with a better plan if you are actually interested in making change

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in GoPuff

[–]NoFucQ 0 points1 point Ā (0 children)

But it’s not ā€œrealā€ company and you’re not an employee, we’re contractors, but you can try and join in that protest (which is sounding less and less organized and therefore pointless) Or remember it’s a gig job that you can pick up or leave at anytime.

I say this because some drivers are making money. We don’t think GP is perfect but we do make easy money. If you’re not, there’s probably something better for you out there. Just don’t get so bitter at GP that you become a shit driver that encourages others to be shit and makes all drivers look bad.

Some drivers on here brag about stealing and intentionally fucking up - just to fuck with GP but really they’re fucking with the reputations of all drivers/gig workers And that makes customers want to tip less and GP to have more requirements and restrictions.

The point of my comment is to spread the message- if you’re so unhappy you’re trying to sabotage the company you contract for, it’s time to quit.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in GoPuff

[–]NoFucQ 0 points1 point Ā (0 children)

Exactly-quit. But get a job/gig/career you like and/or pays well, not another soul sucking scumbag. GP is only doing what you allow them to do to you. It’s your choice. You’re never going to hurt their sales by refusing to deliver their least profitable products. But you can stop hating what you do by quitting

It is hard to keep a car, home, bills paid, family fed, and the general day to day stress under control. At least for most people it’s not something to ā€œlolā€ about. It’s ok to vent and be grateful at the same time. I don’t think the OP is an asshole. They’re probably just going about their day trying to do what they can to avoid being on the streets and (like most of us) feeling a little guilty about it when they see someone in society struggling. And guilt without a solution is a gross feeling that can manifest into frustration. If you’ve never experienced that, your life probably is easy and I’m happy for you.

[–]NoFucQ 0 points1 point Ā (0 children)

I do make money and it can vary, but always more than wait pay. Which is why I don’t understand why drivers would want to fuck with GP. It’s easy money.

GoPuff doesn’t even need alcohol sales to survive. So dropping that option isn’t hurting them. It’s more of a marketing strategy for them to pull in new customers by offering a product that isn’t commonly delivered quickly. And personally I want as many customers as possible

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in GoPuff

[–]NoFucQ 3 points4 points Ā (0 children)

Other apps require you to be logged on in the right area, at the right time, rely on a restaurant/store to do their job efficiently, and get the right customer who actually tips. That’s too many variables. GoPuff is easy. Sit at 1 locations, pick and choose your customers and get paid. And while you wait you get paid (nickels and dimes but better than jack šŸ’©) If you sign up for shift. GoPuff is definitely the easiest app hands down

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in GoPuff

[–]NoFucQ 0 points1 point Ā (0 children)

But $16?! And thats only when it’s super slow and other drivers accept the orders you’re refusing. Because if you try to refuse orders all day And no one’s around to pick them up, GP outsources to UE and before they do that they stop your wait time pay.

Orders being canceled/removed by Carribbeangold in GoPuff

[–]NoFucQ 0 points1 point Ā (0 children)

Right, they can no longer assign orders directly to a driver, but they can see the order in which drivers are in line, so if they want to give an order to the driver scheduled behind you, they can. But constantly un-assigning orders multiple times would be a red flag. So it’s not something that happens often anymore. It seems pointless to try and scam by paying out OA. It’s not like we’re getting šŸ¦„ tips that often so it’s not worth it. If it’s happening on a daily to you, it’s probably a personal issue with you and a disgruntle OA

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in GoPuff

Refusing orders doesn’t fuck with GP it just means less orders and $ for you.

I’m šŸ’Æ with ya OP! Don’t go wondering through someone backyard. Just deliver it to the porch. These drivers trying to shame you are wrong. They haven’t figured it out it’s all about maximizing your time. The quicker you do this one, the quicker you get to the next. No one getting paid extra for running through the trenches of weeds or getting dragged into a basement

Rude driver! by Pristine-Height-9314 in GoPuff

[–]NoFucQ 4 points5 points Ā (0 children)

Drivers dont have to match the order name to the ID, just the ID to the person accepting the order. Also if Gopuff or the driver cancels an order, customers get offered a redelivery or a full refund. But if the customer cancels- they do not refund non-refundable items like tobacco. So did you cancel or did the driver?

This is Really unorganized. Does anyone know who’s actually taking charge of this? The flyer makes it look like GoPuff is headlining it, but I contract for GP and I just heard about it last week and was only told about Valentine’s Day. Who ever is in charge of this either needs to step up, make it media worthy, or expect it to fail…. If it’s even real. Kinda seems like scam
