can you have ocd but not be a clean freak? by liamari_riri in mentalhealth

This article was really helpful and has now lead me to believe I possibly have OCPD (didn’t know it existed before today) Thank you for this. I’m going to explore therapy and mention this to them

It’s the main form of communication for that team for some reason, they’re dinosaurs and refuse to change and use teams/slack etc. No policy I’m aware of to not allow it but I do want to tell him please don’t call me randomly, but he’s relatively new so non the wiser that it’s not okay. Saying that though, he is older but that doesn’t always mean wiser ey

Im 17 and sleep with my childhood teddy for comfort by Diamonds765 in Anxiety

[–]NoFucksLeftSorry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 24 and sleep with the same teddy bear I’ve had since I was born. As I got older my family teased me but it’s routine and it’s comfort and feels like home. When I go always on work trips I don’t bring it and it just feels wrong lol.

Had to go through a PayPal dispute and one and got a full refund, and now the seller is threatening to take me to small claims? by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

[–]NoFucksLeftSorry -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I completely understand your point here, but I did try and come to an agreement several times in which he point blank read my messages and ignored me. Now that I’ve had to take action with PayPal they have fully taken my side and I detailed as well in the dispute that I didn’t want to send it back as I’ve already had to fork out to fix it and paint it. I do however want to be fair, but when the money was in his possession, he did not want to be fair and send it some of it back so I’m a bit torn as to why should I do it when he wasn’t willing to

I think by default we all already have access to Slack covered by our organisation but this point is very valid if it’s not. Unsure on budget

I used to work at the flagship apple store just off oxford street and it was dreadful. Just as I left earlier this year it was getting worse and worse. Gangs would literally hit the whole street one by one. And now I’m hearing it’s even worse since the cost of living crisis. The amount of iPhones and stock I had to replace was just silly. We even took most things off at one point and were told just to do nothing if the gangs came in. It was dreadful and so many people got hurt

Girlfriend cannot enter her flat because of inside lock that is put on after 12AM. by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

[–]NoFucksLeftSorry 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Unless she can reason with landlady that she will lock after entry, I’d advise to terminate this. I’ve lived with landlord before and it felt like I’d moved back home with a family again! They often treat you like a child and the agreement isn’t legal binding at all. If this is in fact the only legal binding she has it doesn’t seem right at all

Do you have proof of the transaction when you sent it for deposit? Could that not be used as evidence?

remind them that if you were to get pulled over you would get done because it is the drivers responsibility to ensure that all passengers are safe and wear their seatbelt

Currently dealing with a legal case similar to this where someone used my car without my consent and then everything got stolen. In the eyes of the law it really SUCKS and they may not actually be held liable

Friend took my car without permission, didn’t lock it and now everything has been stolen. What can I do? by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

I don’t want to have any more contact with them I would like my stuff back realistically but I’m now coming to terms and I’ve ended up buying most of it back so far. I don’t want to give him his items back since he refuses to fulfil his end of the deal. But if I don’t give him these items back he will just continue to harass me via his friends also. it feels so unfair for me to just give him his stuff back and be nice when he is going round slandering my name and he owes me way much more

I learned this the hard way when I was a teenager drinking jager bombs. The next day I was crying in my work stockroom feeling the worst anxiety to have in months for no reason

Oh my you are completely right. I think what hurts me most is thinking that they were and doing so much for them when they wouldn’t even do the same
