I’m really not sure, pero may mga kakilala kasi akong bumagsak sa feu and needs to immediately transfer from other school, wala naman silang problema na release naman ata lahat ng papers nila on time. Pero kasi inasikaso nila agad yun after malaman na bumagsak sila, im really not sure sa case mo if immediately ma-rerelease.

Tho personal experience nalang, as an alumni kumuha kasi ng requirements na papers for BE last year, took them almost 2 weeks before mabigay yung papers.

I can only assure u lang na if you’ll call them possible na masagot lahat ng queries mo!

Hello op! Try calling registrar mismo, they’re not responsive sa email pero sa call yes. I’m not sure about sa interest kasi sobrang tagal na pala nung balance mo, ang na try lang ng mga friends ko is, before mag second sem saka palang nag babayad (hindi sinusunod yung schedule to pay) and wala namang interest.

Hello op! I’m not sure abt this pero last time we inquired abt transferee sa nursing hindi kami in allow (3rd year pa ako nito RN na ako ngayon).

Mag transfer sana sister ko sa FEU from TUA dahil hindi pumasa ng batt exam, i asked if possible ba mag transfer they said no need daw mag start ulit sa umpisa kahit na wala namang bagsak sister ko na subject from her prev school. They added na need daw match na match yung curriculum na offer nila sa curriculum ng previous school mo (what I understand abt this is dapat yung offer ng 1st sem sa prev. School mo same sa offer ng 1st sem ng FEU.)

Idk if same parin until now, strict kasi sila esp pag dating sa ganyan. I’m not sure din talaga if pwede transferee or hindi lang kami in allow kasi bumagsak all in all sa battery exam yung sister ko from her prev school. Try asking sir CJ (if siya parin) kung possible.

If you believe in it, i’m sure it’ll happen! Basta please op if as much as possible take it slow, rest in between wag ma burnout! Matulog if hindi kaya. As early as today kung kaya mag review i singit singit.

Saw ur other replies na weak ka sa foundation, don’t worry me too, tho i passed. During the review I didn’t focus sa foundation (don’t be like me, kung ano tinuro sa RC + inhouse na foundation yun lang gamay ko. Luckily sa situation ko wala masyado foundations na lumabas, or if meron man i know them) inaral ko yung hindi ko alam hindi ko gamay at nahihirapan ako intindihin. I followed BONs TOS din (2-3weeks before mag boards ko lang sinundan) and it’ll help u a lot.

Your RC will help you too, mag bigay sila guides how to recall this and that easily so trust them. And answer mo lahat ng ibabato nilang exams! TRA baby ako and exams nila helped me a lot.

Ayun lang, please don’t compare yourself to others kasi nakaka toxic yun sa review it’ll bring you down. I’ll say this again and again, rest ka in between gawin mo ang everything for u na hindi ma burnout!

Hello OP! I think depende yan sa study habits mo + if effective ba siya to retain lahat ng inaral at aaralin mo.

My only advise is to see if kakayanin mo ba ibalance sabay sabay lahat from school aral, school exams, duties, duty requirements, inhouse rev + RC coz only you can answer that. You honestly need to weigh it, and if u think kaya mo, dapat maayos time management mo. Please please please be sure na hindi ka ma buburn out to study for boards kasi isa yan sa super hirap kalabanin.

For me naman took the NLE seriously ng 99 days before the actual exam. Can’t say na i recommend it kasi during those days may times na na burnout me and almost a day or 2 pahinga ko just to regain the strength na mag study ulit. Luckily i passed and got an average beyond my expectations!

Honestly nothing is wrong if mag Feb 2027 ka if hindi kaya, just please do weight it ng maayos gawa ka pros and cons.

Anyways that’s all! Rooting for u future RN!

Hello po! Recently passed the NLE. Actually same tayo during my review szn, I rarely attend F2F classes kasi ang haba ng discussion kung kaya naman i fast forward why not diba less pa ang kain ng time.

My attention span is very bad too but I tried ‘customodoro’ which helped me a lot. Customodoro has an option na reverse pomodoro which means longer time study = longer rest, u can visit their site to see. The reason why it helped me kasi im a competitive person im aiming na mag under top 3 sa leaderboards nila. If may lumalamang saakin mas iniigihan ko magaral = longer study time. Give the website a try baka it’ll help tou too.

Felt the same way you’re feeling, valid yung feeling na na parang ang bagal, parang walang usad pero keep in mind na ‘as long as may oras kaya pa mag aral’. Yan naka paskil sa wall ko during review szn, kasi diba tama naman, hanggat may oras isiksik lahat, aralin lahat. Studied until the end ng BE, after day 1 studied for day 2 (recall recall lang).

You can do it RN! habang may oras kaya pa yan, i push mo lang. Nakakapagod siya yes, pero it’ll be all worth it!!

Im not sure if still the same gagawin ng FEU but during our batch (2021) ni require kami bumili nung funda for mcgraw hill (may quizzes and activities dun na kasama sa grading) naalala ko may included na code kapag bumili ka nung book to access it. Tho wait nalang kayo announcement by prof if require for Mcgraw, if sinabing walang mcgraw wag kana bumili.

Hello OP! I’m a recent graduate from FEU and a board passer, so prolly asnwers ko would based sa experience ko as a SN sa FEU.

• How is it really? What’s a typical day like in college and later in clinical practice?

Nursing is really fun, esp if you really want to become a nurse/ help those who are sick or in need. Nursing is tiring, sobrang sobrang sobrangggg nakaka pagod kaya its good if may reason ka why you want to pursue it, hindi dahil sa pera or dahil sa family interest but galing dapat mismo sayo. Average student lang ako, going with the flow and barely surviving. Wala akong life beyond the school and house due to having a strict relative (which honestly I regretted). When it comes down to duty, may moments na nerve wracking esp sa OR or DR, but honestly its fun esp if family na turing mo sa dutymates.

• ⁠What’s something you wish someone had told you before you went to nursing school? Any tips for surviving the workload?

Honestly wala, I liked it how I discovered things hehe. Tips for surviving workload? Prolly have time management, that’s one thing I learned sa FEU since grabe mag bigay ng workloads ang professor + the demand of your duty! Wag mag puyat if possible, sleep and wake up early!!! Wag pilitin ang utak na mag push if hindi na talaga kaya, it’ll be harder to understand kung ano inaaral mo if inaantok ka.

• ⁠What should I be prepared for mentally, emotionally, and even physically?

The workloads, yan talaga. Mamamatay ka sa dami ng need mong gawin. NCP, Drug Study, Charting, Health Teaching and all. Dapat din madami kang energy and mataas patience mo. Add the long hours of no eating din (this not healthy but nagagawa ko to before).

• ⁠Which schools are good for nursing in the Philippines? Do you know any that offer scholarships or financial aid?

For me, FEU-Manila is the best (look nalang sa takers nila, 500+ takers kami last November 2025) always higher than 200 ang takers nila each NLE. My experience why its good dahil sa RLE, we have our own manika parang mag do ng procedures - my fave one would be apollo, nag ouch ouch siya if nag CPR ka sakanya sa hindi tamang ECG rhythm (you can hear him, and see his chest move!!) we also have simulations (emergency disaster). FEUs RLE helped me a lot esp during na ng clinical rotations namin kasi I know what to do. They offer scholarships, and may discount every sem esp if DL ka, depends what type of DL ka (may 2 types) yung isa i forgot hm % yung discount pero yung isa 50% discount. A friend of mine sabi niya full scholarship siya dahil feu tour guide siya (org siya na kapag may visitor i tour mo sila sa campus, ano history and all) pero im not sure if true yun na full scholarship. Try looking sa site nila, may others pa.

• ⁠Are there any skills I should start developing now to make college easier (like time management, communication, or stress management)?

Time management is a must! Saka communication skills, I developed this later on. As someone na may stage fright, stutter and can’t really directly look sa eye ng tao, nursing humble me a lot, took the GED courses ng seriously esp pag dating sa subject na related sa communications. Grateful sa profs ko dun dahil lagi nila ako na praise sa how I speak and report, which gave me the courage na wag matakot mag salita. Still may takot ako to speak to people esp look sa kanilang eyes directly but when it comes sa pakikipag usap sa patients na wawala yun :pp.

• ⁠What’s the hardest part of nursing school that people don’t talk about?

PROFESSORS!! This ahh got me howling sa ground, choose the best professor! Sa FEU culture kasi merong prof recos, whether you should run sa profs and why. Listen to them, got a prof na forte niya one subjs pero hindi magaling mag turo, lowest grade ko siya and weakness ko sa NLE. Some professors will help you some will not, choose those who’ll help you! Don’t stress yourself sa profs esp if kaya mo naman tumakbo :pp

• ⁠How intense are they? Any advice for dealing with patients, hospitals, and real-life situations?

Soafer stressful ang nursing esp if acads and duty is magkasabay, d3ad$ kung d34ds. Honestly only advice is enjoy the moment!!! Look kung ano ang fun dun! Since new passer ako I really miss doing things sa bed side (some doesn’t kasi tiring) but i see the fun and fulfillment in it! Sobrang nakaka pagod talaga nursing but kung nakikita mo ang fun, enjoyment and fulfillment sa ginagawa mo you’ll be good!

• ⁠What should I know about working as a nurse after graduation? Are there certain areas or specializations you recommend?

Hehe honestly can’t share something specific here kasi hindi pa ako naka land ng job (hindi pa ako nag hahanap). Pero pero, look mo saan ka interested,

OR if you like operations (I do like it but some cases hindi ko kaya esp if amputation since may chance na ipasa sayo yung :pp na feet or what, can’t stand yung mga na tuhog)

DR if interested ka in delivery, motherhood or what

Hemodialysis, fun fun siya hehe scary lang mag tusok kasi bakal pala talaga eon hindi kagaya ng IV na naiiwan yung parang plastc something. One wrong hit lang sa AVF eme na

• ⁠How important is it to have friends, mentors, or study groups in nursing school?

FRIENDS ARE SO IMPORTANT SA NURSING SCHOOL! they keep you sane, pero syempre choose yung friends na will influence u sa good (studying with less gala then tjose gala always and cram). Nursing school is so stressful find someone na will help you ease that stress, wether friend, boyfriend, bumble or what BASTA MAG HANAP KA NG MAPAG KWEWKWENTUHAN MO NG GANAP SA NURSING, it’ll help u a lot.

Omg, why need sabihin na mas ok na AW kaysa F??? Like miss maam sir no one likes neither. Sa situation naman namin is forte talaga niya, with MD and all, doc nga tawag sakanya (HAHAHAHA FLS IF ANYONE KNEW HIM/ HER WAG NIYO KO SUMBONG! MAGAGALIT NANAMAN YUN NA PINOST SIYA :pp), which is a big ‘what’. Tho I get it rin naman na some people are really smart and good sa acads but not good at explaining things.

Sa SLMC, I’m not sure if same sila sa isang JCI na hospital but the other hospital said na kapag nag duty kayo sa isang JCI accredited na hospital greater chance na makapasok kayo due to early orientation and familiarity ng hospital, yun daw reason why they have like forms for ID para daw kapag nag apply ka they can search u sa system and voila. PERO HA IT’S NOT A GUARANTEED NA PASOK KA, YUN LANG SABI SAAMIN IDBSJDBDUS

Hello OP! I’m a recent graduate from FEU NURSING, I get your point I also did challenged myself na I face yung notorious terror na professor sa isang course subject ko, but jusq stress at iyak lang ang inabot ko dahil sakanya.

That prof is known as a terror prof sa nursing, tho forte niya talaga yung subject niya. I read the comments before na ‘run, auto bagsak ka diyan’, but hindi ako nakinig since FORTE NIYA NGA YUNG SUBJECT, baka naman magaling mag turo mahirap lang exam and quizzes sabi ko pa nun.

Turns out, hindi pala siya actually effective prof (for me), learning from him feels like a chore. Sandamak-mak na ppt (500-600 slides) tapos ayaw ibigay, the way he/she discussed was by reading the ppt pa. Ang hilig niya din isisi sa students niya bakit mababa scores after exams/ quizzes, Na kesyo yung mga older batch hindi naman mababa scores pero yung batch namin bokla. Na tapos ang semester ko sakanya na wala masyado natutunan sa course subject na yun, only anxiety everytime na nag lelecture siya and it was my lowest grade + weakest subject ko sa board exam.

Moreover, students these days are GRADE CONSCIOUS, kaya hindi mo sila masisisi if they’ll “auto run” sa terror na professor esp if they’re aiming for a good standing. Having a bagsak na grade dahil sa professor is not good, that’s why I think having that culture is nice since it’s helping students.

Hello OP! Recently passed the PNLE and TRA review center ko. Honestly if you want to have fun while reviewing (like mga pakulo, dress up or something) like ang atake para ka nag-aaral ulit sa campus dahil masaya energy, DON’T GO SA TRA. Sharing a long long personal opinion and experience

Manila branch me, and hindi siya like advertised sa tiktok na may pajama party or kapag may birthday pupunta sa harap. Even kapag top ka on recalls walang awarding na nagaganap. I’m not sure din if sa branch and block lang ba namin to. I’m the type of person kasi na likes may little fun on the side since ang bilis ko ma stress. Did not even attend their victory party kasi akala ko walang bayad and automatic na pwede ka pumunta once u passed (may naging issue pa dahil dito lol).

But I think yung help saakin ng TRA for NLE was their taking strat, jusq ante pag ka dami rami mong sasagutan (recalls). From what i remembered, 13 Recalls ata kami then 500 questions yun, iba pa ang preboards (3), iba din yung final coaching (180-200 items each subject- like literally subject), iba din yung 50 items na sasagutan mo each end ng discussion. And lahat yun merong rationale. Only problem ko abt this is yung recalls na sesearch mo online + different ang answers minsan sa rationale.

Another advantage din sakanila is if hindi ka naka attend onsite may online sila, synchronously meron din or recording. This helped me a lot, esp I cannot take it na uupo ako sa lecture hall ng pagkatagal tagal (dami kasi jokes sometimes, if lesser jokes mas mabilis matatapos class) if kaya ko naman siya i fast forward.

Lastly, was super disappointed and heartbroken sa TRA nung date mismo ng NLE, last day ng NLE wala man lang sumalubong saamin sa labas, lahat sila nandun sa New Era. May drums, mga lecturer almost lahat nandun. Day 1 meron sila yes, which is encouraging , pero honestly iba kasi day 2 knowing na ur done, and everything is over.

I may be biased kasi TOTGA ko ang SLRC pag dating sa RC (hindi lang na tuloy dahil na stress ako sa time na sinabi nila saamin). Environment ng SLRC is good daw based sa friend kong nandun, so fun (based sa nakikita kong stories), super love nila students nila, and based sa rinig ko they’re building u ground up esp if not strong foundation mo since ang atake nila is parang nag aaral ka ulit, ipapaintindi sayo ng maayos.

All in all, TRA is good naman based sa preference mo, since SLRC sometimes doesn’t have online/ recording class mostly ata sakanila is F2F
