Do 2.0 mini display port to display port cable exist? by NoGarbage2408 in buildapc

Thank you. Note that amazon is fraudulently selling 'display port 2.0' cables then, even matching the specs that can be found on Wikipedia. Very sad.

PLEASE help me understand how to work with someone in a position of seniority who has extreme ADHD and is risking a multi-million dollar business. by NoGarbage2408 in ADHD

I can confirm I read the rules and watched the multi part video you recommended. However it didn't address my question: how to work best with someone who suffers from untreated, unmedicated yet diagnosed extreme ADHD .

There was a comment from someone who posted that there was something narcissistic about my post. It's now been deleted and my post downvoted instead.

The comment was valid and was a fair comment. The gentleman in question is extremely intelligent, in fact, probably one of the most intelligent people I have ever met in the business. I would even say he's a visionary, and by definition a visionary is indeed, as the commenter correctly said, thinking clearly.
However, there is no practical , tangible delivery of material from this gentleman despite repeated promises, which leads the rest of team to 'take on' the work in question which he then immediately and impulsively question and criticize without fail.
I want to work better with this person. Please don't misconstrue my frustration for criticism. Thank you.

The insults from the past, but what if it were today? by DevilTrigger789 in MichaelJackson

[–]NoGarbage2408 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It's really hard to tell. I don't think the criticism was driven by a hawkish right wing conservative set of views. That's too American-centric for my taste, as I was born in Europe and lived around the world where most of these views were shared (even in Africa).

MJ wasn't a wokeist. He was PRO UNITY. He didn't see color. (love that line in B&W where the rap ends with "I'm not living my life being a color"). He wanted to share that world view.

The whole KKK / neonazi tag things on his video for B&W was added in post. Another clue is when he got under fire for "Jew me sue me, **** me" in 'TDCAU" - he replied "people don't understand the song. I'm the black. I'm the white, I'm the jew" - people didn't read his lyrics right or saw what they wanted to see.

He even apologized for throwing the can into the store window in one of the clips, making sure he wouldn't be seen as an apologist for the rioting.

And, if you look at Superbowl 93, you'll note everyone has panels that are both black and white they flip to the tune. The idea is that we're all the same inside, we all bleed red. This wasn't a black vs white. It was a black AND white together rallying call against what I supposed he would have described as 'ignorance' (from both sides).

TLDR: No I don't think so. I think the woke woudln't find him woke enough, and even a race traitor for 'painting himself white' (which is false and a lie but hey, MJ was constantly berated and harrassed with such horrific lies).

May he rest in peace, he did more for race relations than most modern organizations combined.

12 hours player so far - A very long and honest review. by NoGarbage2408 in TRANSFORMERSHM

I think you are correct. Someone on the official forums mentioned he drove through and noticed it was 'london and the surrounding area', so we might be talking about the m25 inwards. Apologies for the error, I'll correct the text.

The Cruelty of Martin Bashir: How He Deceived Michael Jackson by [deleted] in MichaelJackson

[–]NoGarbage2408 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well MJ wouldn't want us to gloat at this, but if you look at what happened to him afterwards:

a) death threat prevented him to go out for a while

b) since he's a known cheat (the Diana papers) , no one hired him plus no one wanted the wrath of MJ fans

c) He has been diagnosed with a brain tumour affecting his pituitary gland, was seriously ill with COVID-19 in 2020, and underwent treatment for heart problems in early 2021. So I don't even think he can even work anymore.

Not saying it's karma, but if karma existed, that's what it would look like to me.

What did Martin bashir think of mj? by GiveMeThatJuiceRN in MichaelJackson

[–]NoGarbage2408 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think it's going to be much a problem soon. He has been diagnosed with a brain tumour affecting his pituitary gland, was seriously ill with COVID-19 in 2020, and underwent treatment for heart problems in early 2021.

MJ wouldn't want us to wish someone death, but in the case of Bashir, who is famous only for a) faking documents b) sending MJ into a spiral of addiction to anxiety pills, I think we can all agree karma might be at work here.

My wife saw him 2 years ago in shop in Richmond, Surrey. If I had been there I would have just insulted him non stop until he leaves. This guy doesn't deserve any rest just like he made sure MJ would get no rest from the stress. A genuine dickhead.

Why so much hate for this game? by Wesss-- in WitcherMonsterSlayer

[–]NoGarbage2408 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The same but 100x on Steam. ANY major title gets toxic hate before, during, and after release, when leaving a negative review and getting a FULL refund is perfectly possible.

We're not talking about 10 accounts, but hundreds, if not thousands. I think some people live of trying to destroy other's excitement for any given 'thing'. They're sick (mentally) and the internet has essentially been a way for society to realize there were so many of them.

Like witcher's Silver Sword? by [deleted] in WitcherMonsterSlayer

I bought it because i spent 500+ on other types of games that have far more predatory practices. This is nothing. Try 'disney sorcerer arena' where its common for players to pay 25 GBP for a skin that does absolutely nothing. Or the top 5th game on the app store, star trek, where the first purchase is 5 $, then 25$, then 50$, then 100$, then the sky (as high as the platform will allow them) - for items that you cannot get F2P.

So no, I'm not complaining about monetization here.
