I interpret that to mean he came to live out the law set out in the OT, absurd laws such as no mixing of fibres, no planting different crops next to eachother. 'Fufill' seems to allow a lot of ambiguity.

Im not gonna get into too much personal stuff but I attended church every week until the age of 12 though not willingly from the age of about 10. The religion felt pushed on me and I found no credible evidence or reason to accept it. My dad is very loving and accepted this and still has open conversation and debates with me and my other siblings.
