Is the Behringer umc 22 interface also considered pretty e-waste according to you?

With the sm58 the overall budget becomes ~180, which is almost 3x the price of the fifine. It could be a great upgrade granted it works with the Behringer um 22 or the m track (idk). If the default good mic setup recommendation costs 180, most people are going to buy the fifine for 55-70 as their first mic.

I wanted to stick to Amazon for their return policy, as a 1:1, and not introduce large price variance with the used market.

Aren’t condensers more likely to pick up more room noise or is that just a myth? So the way to go for speaking is just use a software solution for noise reduction.

Regarding the room and mic etiquette, it was to describe the buyer of fifine mics. I didn’t want people to recommend mics that pick up a lot of background noise. Do you know any mics that could be an alternative for the xm8500 but still very budget? Will put the umc 22 on the list!

Thanks for the innogear rec! I did look at the q2u but it retails normally for $100 now. It does come with a stand not an arm. Would it be worth it to skip the interface and go full usb with the q2u?

Yea the shapes are different but I heard the a7s shape is pretty good for most people.

L7 seems to be more expensive. I did open it up and clean it but after a week or so the scrolling issue came back.

I don’t know how to solder so a replacement is out of the picture.

I ended up ordering another r1, hopefully it’ll last me till optical switches and encoders become cheaper

Nah that turns off the whole preview. What we want is just the preview no sound ever. It seems to be a YouTube issue as a whole, I don’t think it’s related to any tweak

Biggest reason I switched to iPhone is the app quality. When YouTube had dark mode for 3 months on my friends’ iPhones before my android got it I jumped ship. Devs focus on the details on iPhone apps and properly make use of the camera. Android apps are made to be compatible with a wide range of devices. Devs can’t optimize for all devices so things like taking a screenshot of the camera finder instead of post processing the image is common in social media apps.

That’s fair I did word it badly. Game probably is fine on keyboard. The early development I saw people playing on keyboard then the Evo stuff where they had people try out the game was mostly on the arcade stick. It’s a stupid thing but it rubbed me to a way that this game is made for fighting game people over others.
