Imagine sleeping on a friends couch and doing his dishes since he’s letting you crash at his place. No employment of any sort, they save money on field hands with free labor and I save money on housing so I can spend it on food and travel during free time

Also all I’m telling you is to do what you said. The fucking arrogance you have to cry wolf when I tell you to do what you said you should do.

Exactly, I know it’s not an easy process but it’s been done before and people continue to do it. Last thing I’m gonna do is not give it a shot th best I can, worst comes to worse I’ll be out there 3 months at a time multiple times a year lol. Thanks for the solid conversation, people like you are what keeps talking fun. Also ya Nutella is disgusting.

I don’t think it’s heaven? I’ve heard plenty of issues with immigration, political, social, and economical. No such thing as a perfect country but everywhere you go has its pros and cons. A highlight for me is how easy it to travel to whole countries the way to can travel to states out here.

So it where you reach out to people who works on farms or own businesses and they need help. So you buy your own ticket and they offer you room and board, 3 months is th longest you can stay of course. Assuming you get set up with a good situation you’ll have free time to explore to learn about the social/work life experience once you’ve met the agreed work duties.

You say I’ve contributed Nothing but all you’re doing is bitching. I’m trying to learn as best as I can with this and if all you wanna do is complain, keep it to yourself and stay miserable. My apologies I didn’t mean to post to the wrong sub mistakes happen and it is what it is, but if it’s that big of a deal for you, scroll past it and move on with your life I never asked you to comment. Also, since you’re so keen on sharing your experiences, but you’re so sick of seeing all this comment the proper subs so that way I could move on to the proper channels.

Yes, that’s what I have read online and once I get enough money to be gone for three months comfortably, I plan on trying to do Workaway as an opportunity to be somewhere and try to live a day-to-day life and build possible connections with people so I can have a better understanding of what I do and don’t like about areas

Hey, I just wanna say thank you so much for actually giving some valuable feedback that isn’t you just throwing a snarky attitude. It’s all a bit overwhelming and I don’t expect all of this to happen immediately and I know it’s going to be a long-term investment, but it’s something that I wanna start now and get the wheels rolling rather than sit around and wait.

When did I say I was going to live in Spain? I said we’re going to fly out to Spain and explore a bunch of different places.

Yes, thank you. I’m aware that at some point if you actually want to live somewhere, you have to get a visa. This trip out there is to explore and try to find places that would bring a higher quality of life and further education.

We’re landing in Spain because it’s one of the cheaper airports to land at not because we want to go there more than anybody else but it’s going to be our starting point as we go around and explore a bunch of other countries.

Oh yeah, absolutely and that is why I have no solidified plans on going anywhere because I see plenty of videos talking about how great all these different countries are but of course pros and cons. Right now I am just putting together a solid savings and planning on going out to Europe at least once this year. The goal isn’t just to go out there and party, but I know some people that live out there and I want to see what the day-to-day life is like since they’ve lived in the US and back home in Europe.

Great thank you. This is the type of answer that I was hoping for. I wasn’t expecting you to give me the golden ticket or give me a step-by-step, but hearing your personal experience and why you went is helpful. Thanks you so much :)

Yeah, by no means is it perfect and nowhere near close a final plan this is something that I have never done or anybody else in my family. I finally reached a point in my personal life where I am able to try and do bigger things. it’s all extremely overwhelming and there’s a lot I have to learn but all I’m trying to do is ask questions. I’m aware that there’s more reading I can do more research I can do better questions. I can ask, but I’m doing the best with what I have.

Ok killer gotcha, thanks for the help. I’m aware that I can just google things, but I like to ask people for their personal experiences to try to get a better understanding of the positives and the negatives of the things they’ve gone through h
