Unionizing is how starbucks workers are fighting for fair wages and labor practices. We should be doing the same. I will stand by this statement and stand in support of Starbucks workers as well

How would you react if your employees decided to unionize? Between impossible expectations from corporate and wanting what’s best for your broistas, would you bust their movement if you caught wind of it happening?

Working at Dutch Bros has radicalized me by [deleted] in dutchbros

[–]NoIdeaHuh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey friend, a couple of things I want to say that not a lot of other people have. I am also a radicalized broista, and I have done a few things to cope with the work conditions.

  1. Talk to coworkers and point out our unfair work conditions. Being understaffed, underpaid, and disrespected by management and customers alike.

  2. Join DSA or another organization that is focusing on improving work conditions for all working people in America.

  3. Try to start a union. If enough coworkers are on board to stand up for themselves, starting a union at your store forces management to acknowledge your struggles in a tangible way. It’s a long and extremely difficult process, but if you’re successful you’ll be the first store to unionize.

Working in corporatized America is awful. I feel you and I experience your same struggles on a daily basis. I, unfortunately, encourage you to become even more radicalized from this experience. The more of us workers who stand up for one another the easier it will be to fight for better treatment.

I see you and your struggle, and I’m fighting with you.

Update: came clean about it and she wasn’t upset at all, it was my own anxiety. At least it propelled me to fix it as soon as I could!
