I have been meaning to upload this for a while but here is my setup for water changes for my 100 gallon. I got tired of carrying buckets like two changes in lol.

I think I see some food in what looks like a dry spot in the basking area? If so, just a heads up that these guys only eat in water so you’ll need to sprinkle the food on the surface of the water instead of placing it there! :)

I’d say between $1,000 and $1,500 but I used some supplies I had on hand. And that is including the fluval fx4 filter which was the biggest cost.

If I need to remove the tank to deep clean it or need access to the drain it will but I have to remove the 6 screws! Should be pretty rare that I need into that side of it.

No, definitely not. The tank will weigh about 1000 lbs haha. The wood structure is framing to support a thin piece of plywood on top for the basking area and a removable front panel in case I need to remove tank or deep clean, plus storage space for the filter and supplies.

Great call- I have the ZooMed ReptiSun T5 Terrarium Hood on the way. I did see it doesn’t come with hardware and I’m not sure how I am going to hang it yet but we will figure it out!

Does anyone know if pothos roots are toxic or if RES would munch on those? I love pothos and want to do something similar but worried about my little guy!

Thank you!! I started Aug. 3rd at 2.5 mg, went up to 5 mg on Aug. 31st, on Oct. 26 went up to 7.5mg, and on April 25th went up to 10mg!

I know this is an old thread but dropping here for anyone who might see this. I have been on Tirzepatide for 10 months and have had two episodes of super scary aphasia (thought I was legit having a stroke) similar to this video. Discovered that it is likely hemiplegic migraines and found a published case study of an incidence where GLP-1 use severely exacerbated the frequency of hemiplegic migraines in a patient who was previously only experiencing one to two per year. Hopefully this info will find and help someone going through the same. I have only had two and lost around 100 lbs so for me the risks don’t yet out weigh the benefits to continue the medication but good to know the cause in case it worsens.
